The American company Microsoft seems to have taken seriously the problems that in recent months have been affecting the owners of smartphones in the Lumia range. After having solved the Lumia 535 screen problems through an update, this time we have learned that Microsoft is working on a new update aimed at solving the screen problems detected in some Nokia Lumia 930s. These screen problems seem to translate into purple reflections that appear when the screen shows dark tones.
Confirmation of this new update for the Nokia Lumia 930 we can find it in the account Twitter of @LumiaHelp . This Twitter account is in charge of offering support to the owners of the smartphones of the Lumia range, and in one of their latest messages we can find the following confirmation: “ We are aware of the screen problems that some units of the Lumia 930 suffer. We have identified the problem and are working on an operating system update that will correct this failure, "as echoed by the US website WindowsCentral .
The screen problem suffered by some owners of the Nokia Lumia 930 translates into a strange purple glow that appears when the user is viewing a black image on their mobile. This issue also leads to other complaints related to brightness, which does not appear to display uniformly when reflecting black-gray images. These same complaints seem to also extend to other smartphones in the Lumia range such as the Nokia Lumia 730 or the Nokia Lumia 735, although Microsoft has not mentioned any other mobile when referring to this new update.
On the other hand, it is strange that Microsoft has made this confirmation of a new update for the Nokia Lumia 930 considering that this smartphone has previously received an update that, in theory, should have fixed these screen problems. We will be attentive to the next updates of this smartphone to find out whether or not there will finally be a new update with fixes of some kind.
Recall that the Nokia Lumia 930 is a smartphone that was officially presented during the month of April of this year. Among its features are a display of five inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 of four cores running at 2.2 GHz, two gigabytes of RAM, 32 gigabytes of internal memory, a main chamber 20 megapixels, OS Windows Phone 8.1 and a battery with a capacity of 2,420 mAh.
