Launched more than half a year ago, MIUI 11 continues to reach a large part of the brand's catalog in a staggered manner. Currently most Xiaomi phones already have the eleventh version of MIUI. Sadly, some mid-range and low-end phones have yet to be updated via OTA. The solution is to install the MIUI 11 ROM manually, and this time we will show you how to proceed in a simple way without root and without complex methods involved.

How to download and install the MIUI 11 ROM on my Xiaomi mobile
If our mobile is within Xiaomi's update plans and the deadline to receive the OTA version has already expired, most likely we can update to MIUI 11 from MIUI 10 without too many problems. For this we will have to resort to a tool called Downmi, which we can download from the Google store.
The application in question allows us to download the latest version of the system corresponding to our phone model. Simply select our Xiaomi model, the type of ROM we want to download and the desired MIUI version. In ROM Type it is best to select "Global Stable", while in MIUI Version we will have to make sure that the numbering begins with "11.0.x.xx.x".
When the ROM is downloaded to the phone, the process to update the device manually is really simple. Within Settings, specifically in the My device section, click on System Updater and then on the three points corresponding to Advanced Settings.
Finally we will select the option of Select update package and we will access the downloaded_rom folder that we can find in the storage root. In the event that the previous option does not appear among the options available in the Advanced Settings, it will be enough to press seven times on the 10 of the MIUI 10 logo to activate the option in question.
The last step will be to click on Update and wait for the phone to install the update completely.
