An all-screen design
Meizu has worked hard to make the Meizu 16x look especially at the front. The terminal arrives with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.62%. This means that there is almost no presence of frames on both sides of the panel. There is also no place for a notch or notch, something that many users will surely appreciate. The device is constructed of glass and aluminum, with slightly rounded edges. It shows a slim profile with exact measurements of 150.5 x 73.2 x 7.3 mm and a weight of 152 grams. It can be said that at first glance it is beautiful and will surely be very comfortable to handle.
The Meizu 16x's screen has a size of 6 inches and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,160 pixels. The aspect ratio is the usual one for this type of device: 18.7: 9. Inside the terminal we will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, manufactured in 10 nm and running at 2.2 GHz. This SoC is accompanied by 6 or 8 GB of RAM. The storage capacity is 64 or 128 GB, expandable by using microSD type cards. It should be noted that like the Meizu 16, this new model has a fingerprint reader under the screen to make payments or increase security.
Three cameras with AI
Regarding the photographic section, the Meizu 16X has a set that is not bad at all. It equips a double main sensor of 12 and 20 megapixels, with which we can perform the blur effect to give a greater prominence to a figure compared to the rest of the elements of the image. It also includes ArcSoft algorithm, scene recognition enhanced with Artificial Intelligence functions and Auto HDR mode. On the front we find a 20 megapixel selfie sensor with AI functions to beautify self-portraits. The device also equips a 3,010 mAh battery with fast charging and is governed by Flyme 7.5 (based on Android 8.0 Oreo).
The Meizu 16X has already started to be marketed. The phone can be pre-purchased in online stores such as Giztop from 350 euros to change. This price is for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Shipments will begin in one to two weeks.
