After several weeks of rumors and leaks of all kinds, Meizu has finally presented its high-end. The Meizu 16s comes to renew a good part of the specifications presented last year with the Meizu 16th. The new terminal of the Chinese company presents a design with a ratio of use of the surface greater than its predecessor and a hardware that has the latest of the latest in terms of processor. The price, in line with the Meizu 16th, is below 500 euros at the exchange rate, rivaling titans like the Xiaomi Mi 9 or the next OnePlus 7.

Notchless design with a frontal close to 92%
If the Meizu mobiles stand out for something, it is because they have designs that in their entirety are quite far from the competition.
A design that forgets about the notch or notch and that has a 91.53% use of the front surface. The latter consists of a 6.2-inch screen with an integrated fingerprint sensor, AMOLED technology and Full HD + resolution.
As for the other aspects of the device, the terminal consists of a body made of glass with gradient colors in three different shades: black, blue and white.

Competing with terminals such as the Xiaomi Mi 9 or the OnePlus 7 is not easy, especially in terms of features.
The renewal of the Meizu 16th has a Snapdragon 855 processor along with 6 and 8 GB of RAM and a memory configuration that goes from 128 to 256 GB.
For the rest, the terminal has dual-band GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC connectivity and WiFi 5 with all available bands. Also, the Meizu 16 has a 3,600 mAh battery with fast charging technology that reaches 24 W, making it one of the fastest today.
Super Night mode and 48 megapixel camera
In the cameras section we do not find great news with respect to the aforementioned models of the competition. The novelty of Meizu in terms of the photographic section is found precisely in the software.
The technical data of its cameras tell us that we are facing the same main camera of 48 megapixels and focal aperture f / 1.75 based on the Sony IMX586 sensor of the Xiaomi Mi 9 and a secondary camera with a telephoto lens that is based on the Sony sensor. 20 megapixel IMX350 and f / 1.8 aperture. As for the front camera, the Samsung 3T2 sensor consists of 20 megapixels and a focal aperture that has not been provided by the brand.
But beyond the technical specifications, where Meizu has introduced most of the news is in the software. Specifically, the company has presented a new mode called Super Night for night photographs and another mode called AI Beauty for selfies photographs. It would be necessary to see test them in hand to see how they behave.
Price and availability of the Meizu 16s in Spain
Unfortunately, Meizu has not provided the price and the date of availability of the terminal in Spain. The price at which it is currently in China leaves us the following roadmap:
- Meizu 16s with 6 and 128 GB: 450 euros to change
- Meizu 16s with 8 and 128 GB: 489 euros to change
- Meizu 16s with 8 and 256 GB: 556 euros to change
Upon arrival in Spain, the price is expected to increase by at least 49 euros in all versions.
