Do you have an Honor mobile? You are in luck, the company has announced the update to Magic UI 3.0 (also called EMU 10). This is the new customization layer for Honor phones that comes under Android 10. There are many improvements and new features that come to the different models of the company. Magic UI 3.0 incorporates similar features to EMUI 10, since it is practically the same version, but under an exclusive name for the Honor brand terminals. One of the main novelties is the introduction of dark mode. This can be activated through the system settings and adapts to almost any application, including those of third parties. The colors of the interface turn black, and this helps especially in AMOLED panels, since this way we achieve greater autonomy savings.
The new version of Magic UI also incorporates an important change in the design of the interface, and not only speaking of the dark mode. The icons receive a new design. Also the main default applications, which now come with new menus and options. The notification and direct settings bar now has rounded icons and new colors. They also change the animations with a much more fluid and adaptive movement. The camera app is also redesigned with a more minimalist interface and new modes for photography.
In addition, this update comes with the ability to share screen between Honor devices and computers. This function will allow us to see the content of our mobile from the computer screen, in addition to being able to transfer photos, videos and files in a faster way. To connect it we only need a Windows computer. It can be activated via NFC, Bluetooth or via a QR code. This feature works mostly on Huawei and Honor laptops.

Finally, Honor improves the security of the devices that update to this new version. Magic UI 3.0 enables the Trusted Execution Environment system. This system is used in mobile payments or in registries to prevent a leak of personal data that may affect the user. What it does is encrypt the various settings, data and information on the device.

The update is already beginning to reach these terminals in a phased manner. If you haven't received it, try going to Settings> System and updates> Software update. Click Check for updates. Remember to be connected to a stable WiFi network, in addition to having enough space on the internal storage. As this is a major update, it is best to back up your data. It is also recommended to connect the charger during the whole process.
