- SPC Gen and Gen Lite, climbing a notch below 120 euros
SPC, the Spanish technology company, has just launched a whole catalog of smartphones aimed at the entry-level range. Its promise to launch mobiles for less than 120 euros comes through two ranges of products. The cheapest range is called Smart and is aimed at all those users who are looking for a simple phone for a price that is below 100 euros. The Gen series combines good performance with a much more careful and modern design without sacrificing the price factor.
SPC Smart, Smart Lite and Smart Max, SPC's cheapest bet
There are three models that have been presented under the pseudonym of the Smart series, the SPC Smart, the SPC Smart Lite and the SPC Smart Max. While the first two can already be purchased through the manufacturer's official store, the last will hit the market in the coming weeks.
Focusing on the first two models, the SPC Smart Lite is the cheapest phone in the company. It has a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 480 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18: 9. It comes with a Mediatek A7 processor and 2 GB of RAM, along with 16 GB of internal storage and a slot for micro SD cards up to 64 GB.
The photographic section of the SPC Smart Lite consists of two simple 5 and 2 megapixel cameras on the back and front. It has a 2,200 mAh battery, as well as FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and A-GPS and WiFi b / g / n. Its weight is only 142 grams and it is less than 14 centimeters high.
As for the SPC Smart, the phone replicates part of the Smart Lite specifications. The only tangible difference is found in the 8 and 5 megapixel cameras. The rest of the characteristics are practically identical, as well as the design.
The price of each of these models is 60 euros for the first and 80 for the second. They can be purchased from today in the SPC store.
SPC Gen and Gen Lite, climbing a notch below 120 euros
The Gen series constitutes the highest range within the manufacturer's entry range. With two models at the helm, the price of each of the phones does not exceed 120 euros in any case.
If we talk about the SPC Gen Lite, the phone has a 6.09-inch screen with HD resolution, IPS technology and a 19.2: 9 ratio. Its design is somewhat more current, with a drop-shaped notch and significantly smaller frames.
It has an eight-core Unisoc processor, as well as 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It also integrates two cameras of 5 megapixels each, in addition to a 3,000 mAh battery. 4G connectivity, WiFi b / g / n, FM radio and GPS and A-GPS is the string of connections that complement the list of specifications of the SPC Gen Lite.
We will now talk about the SPC Gen. The design of the terminal is somewhat more conservative than its counterpart, as it lacks a notch on its front. It has a 5.45-inch screen with HD + resolution and IPS technology.
The bet in the technical section is somewhat higher. The phone has a similar processor manufactured by Unisoc. The difference with respect to the Gen Lite is that it has two versions of RAM and internal storage: 3 and 32 GB and 4 and 64 GB. The photographic section also adds, with a 13 megapixel camera on the back and 5 on the front. The rest of the features are made up of a 3,000 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE connectivity and FM radio.
