One of the brands that brought the most news in terms of phone presentation during the Mobile Word Congress this year was Sony. Specifically, the Japanese company presented three different models, the Sony Xperia 1, the Sony Xperia 10 and the Xperia 10 Plus. Now it's the Sony Xperia 10 Ultra that resonates in the latest wave of rumors. And it is that according to the leaks of the aforementioned terminal, it could have a 7-inch screen in size and the same ratio as the previous 21: 9. Along with this, a hardware that would be oriented, according to various sources close to the manufacturer, to the medium / high range.
Sony Xperia 10 Ultra: 7-inch screen and Snapdragon 710 processor
Sony's Ultra range has always been characterized by having screens that exceed the average screen size of other mobiles. The last model presented by the company with the ultra schoolgirl was the XA2 Ultra, a device with a 6-inch screen and a 16: 9 ratio. The rumored Sony Xperia 10 Ultra would have a screen of nothing more and nothing less than 7 inches.
As can be seen in the image above, the terminal would exceed both in height and width the size of the Samsung Galaxy S10e (first mobile on the left) and the Sony Xperia 10 Plus (second mobile on both sides). Remember that the latter has a 6.5-inch screen with an ultra-wide 21: 9 ratio that exceeds 16 centimeters high; specifically we find a panel 16.7 centimeters high. The size of the supposed Xperia 10 Ultra could be dangerously close to 20 centimeters long, with one of the largest diameters seen to date on a mobile.
As for the characteristics of the Sony Xperia 10 Ultra, the terminal would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage expandable through micro SD cards up to 512 GB. The screen, like the rest of the Xperia 10 range, would be based on an IPS LCD panel with a 21: 9 ratio and Full HD + resolution, although it is not ruled out that Sony opts for a 2K panel given its size.
Regarding the photographic section of the device, it could replicate the Xperia 10 Plus camera configuration with somewhat improved specifications. It remains to be seen if the price is good, given the high price of the two mid-range mobiles presented by Sony to date.
