With the impending Mobile World Congress 2013 just around the corner, a lot is being said these days about devices. But systems are still fundamental elements, and in fact, one of the axes of the war that faces the different device manufacturers is articulated in the platforms with which the smartphones that populate and will populate the market work.
In this way, we could understand each of these systems as if they were the different battlefields where some and other firms fire cannon sales and market shares. In this sense, at the moment we do not know if the South Korean Samsung will carry its new Tizen system under its arm to the Barcelona mobile fair, although if not, these days we can enjoy a preview.
Through the specialized site SamMobile we have been able to appreciate a series of new screenshots of its user interface. It is very interesting to see that, despite the fact that this platform is, in a way, a continuation of Bada OS, although taking a new itinerary, they have taken the opportunity to refresh the design airs of the look it boasts. The captures have been made thanks to the deployment of the second edition of the development kit for this system, thus revealing a series of new features that anticipate what we will be able to find in the equipment that works with Tizen.
Thus, for example, solvent novelties are noted regarding the coding of webs in HTML5, as well as giving the option of a correct visualization of webs without the full-screen browser framework, also including support for multiple windows. "" It is not specified how the latter will work, although the aroma of the function that we already know from terminals based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is more than evident ””. Among the options that the platform will have is the support with the NFC proximity communication chip, which already anticipates one of the benefits that we would undoubtedly find in the equipment that works with Tizen"" Something that, in a way, was to be expected, taking the pulse of the trend in other platforms, with the exception of iOS "".
In terms of design, Tizen is committed to sobriety. The backgrounds are light, with a slight beige tone that serves as a base for the texts to be distributed with enough air. Everything looks very clean and computer, so that simplicity has been the goal to be followed by those responsible for the appearance of the system. It is worth highlighting something that draws your attention: the application panel. The icons are circular, with a small flattened tone, and although they are different from the ones we know from Symbian (Nokia Belle), it is inevitable to evoke the Finnish firm's systemwhen you take a look at the proposal. However, the level of detail of the small buttons that give access to applications and utilities is much higher. The result, in general, is very elegant and attractive.
