Android 9 Pie, the latest version of Android, is now available on the Galaxy S9. The South Korean company updated to the final version just a few weeks ago and after receiving the beta version. Although the Galaxy Note 9, which is still in beta, still needs to update to Android Pie, S amsung is already planning to launch the beta on the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8.
SamMobile has found hints of the beta update to Android 9.0 Pie for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8, two devices that were released in 2017. The software versions are G950FXXU4ZSA1, G955FXXU4ZSA1, and N950FXXU5ZSA1, these build numbers warn that some devices are already receiving the update, although Samsung has not confirmed anything officially. Therefore, they are likely only available in a limited number of units. Later, the company should launch the beta publicly, with a registration through its member service and in the different markets available, such as the United States, the United Kingdom or even in Europe.
The beta update also suggests an early final update to the latest version of Android, although it is likely that until the middle of this year it will not reach all devices in a final way.
