The Samsung Galaxy P30 will be the new Samsung phones with an on-screen fingerprint sensor
Table of contents:
After the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note, the next brand event in sight was the supposed Galaxy F, the South Korean flexible phone that is expected to be launched in November. At least that was so until now. And it is that only a few minutes ago the leak of two new mobile phones of the brand came by surprise to the newsroom. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy P30 and P30 +, two mid-range smartphones that will arrive with one of the most desired features of this 2018: the on-screen fingerprint sensor.
Nothing from Samsung Galaxy S10: the Galaxy P30 will be the first with a fingerprint sensor under the screen
This morning one of the sources closest to Samsung, @MMDDJ, confirmed it on Twitter: the company would launch two new phones with the termination SM-G6200 and the name of Samsung Galaxy P30 and P30 + and with LCD screen. Now another unknown source has just confirmed through Slashleaks that both models will be the first to have a fingerprint sensor on the screen.
So we can see it in the original post on Slashleaks. The publication in question says that the brand's P30s could be the first to bring this feature. It is also mentioned that it will do so before the Samsung Galaxy S10 is presented, which is why it is expected that it will be presented before the end of 2018. Regarding the specifications of both models, to date nothing is known about their internal hardware. The only thing that is known is that they could have an LCD screen; no IPS at the moment. This makes us suppose that both the P30 and the P30 + could be mid-range mobiles, similar to the Samsung Galaxy A8 or A8 +. An Exynos 7885 processor, 4 and 6 GB of RAM and 64 and 128 GB could be its possible specifications.
For now, we can only wait for new leaks to know more details about these new models. Aspects such as design or technical characteristics are still a mystery, although they could be the prelude to what we will see in 2019 with the Samsung Galaxy S10. It is not ruled out either that they are trimmed versions of the Galaxy S10.
