- Nokia 4.2, a compact mid-range for lovers of medium screens
We can now buy in Spain the Nokia brand terminals that were seen at the past World Mobile Congress in February. These are the Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2, two terminals belonging to the entry-level and mid-range of the brand's catalog, respectively. Both terminals are affordable and have interesting features, especially for those users who prefer to have a modest mobile with features that perform on a day-to-day basis, without demands, rather than opt for more expensive terminals.
We are going to tell you what you can see in the new Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 so that you can value, in its fair measure, if it is worth its acquisition or if, on the contrary, it would be better to opt for similar proposals.
Nokia 3.2, an affordable terminal with a great battery.
Before entering the matter, we have to clarify the price of the terminal: 150 euros. Now we must take into account the price for all the specifications that the terminal has, which places it directly in the entry range of the catalog. This is a large terminal, with a 6.26-inch IPS LCD screen and 720 x 1520 resolution, which results in a somewhat fair pixel density of 269. As for the photographic section, we have a 13-megapixel main camera with focal aperture f /2.2 and autofocus. The selfie camera has 5 megapixels with a focal aperture f / 2.2.
Its interior houses a Snapdragon 429 processor accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, the latter being, perhaps, the weakest point of the terminal. One of the strongest, on the other hand, is its battery: the Nokia 3.2 has a battery of no less than 4,000 mAh, enough for a day or day and a half of intensive use. We will also have Android 9 Pie and among its connections, of course, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio and microUSB input.
You can reserve it in the official store for 150 euros. You can choose between two colors, black and steel and they will be delivered from May 31.
Nokia 4.2, a compact mid-range for lovers of medium screens
As for the Nokia 4.2, defying all logic, we find a smaller screen than the other model. Specifically, 5.7 inches and the same resolution as the previous one, which gives a higher pixel density (295). If we look closely at the photographic section, we will find a 13-megapixel (f / 2.2) and 2-megapixel dual main camera with a depth sensor to achieve photographs with a portrait effect.
We will have in this terminal with a Snapdragon 439 processor accompanied by a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. Its battery is 3,000 mAh (lower than the Nokia 3.2 model) and we will have Android 9 Pie. As for the connections, we have the usual 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB input and something that has pleasantly surprised us, such as the inclusion of NFC connectivity for mobile payments. If your card is compatible, you can make your purchases without having to take it out, just with your mobile phone.
This new Nokia 4.2 can be purchased from the same official store at a price of 180 euros and is available in pink and black.
