The new iPhone 11, like its predecessors, are compatible with fast charging. It is not that they stand out from the rest in this section, but at least we know that if we opt for the Apple terminal we will have this functionality available so widespread today. Specifically, they are compatible with 18W chargers that, according to Apple data, will provide us with a 50% charge in 30 minutes. If you have tried fast charging on a mobile, you will surely have discovered the advantages of this system.
However, in order to use the fast charging system we need a suitable charger. The iPhone 11 Pro is standard, but the iPhone 11 still comes with a charger that does not take advantage of fast charging. So we thought we could compile a selection of chargers that will allow you to take advantage of the fast charging system of your new iPhone 11. And if you have an iPhone 11 Pro, it is always good to have a second charger available.
Apple 18W USB-C Power Adapter
We start with the official Apple charger. Although it is always advisable to use an official charger, this one from Apple has two problems. The first is that only the power adapter comes, so we will have to separately buy a USB-C to Lightning cable. Although being honest, this happens in practically everyone.
The second is its price. On the one hand we have the 18W power adapter, which is priced at 35 euros. On the other hand we also have to buy the aforementioned cable. If we opt for the official Apple it will cost us no less than a minimum of 25 euros (1 meter).
So if we want to get a fast charging charger for our Apple iPhone 11 we will have to pay 60 euros.
UGREEN USB C Power Delivery 3.0 Charger
Ugreen is one of the best known mobile accessories manufacturers. It has accessories of almost any type, both for mobile devices and computers. So their chargers are usually a very good alternative to the official one.
For the iPhone 11 we have located the USB C Power Delivery 3.0 charger with 18W charging. It is priced at 13 euros and is compatible with all Apple devices. To this we must add a compatible cable. For example the USB Type C to Lightning Cable of the same brand, with a price of 13 euros. Thus, the total amount to have a fast charging charger for our Ugreen iPhone 11 will be 26 euros.
Quntis charger
If you don't want to buy the charger and the cable separately, you can take a look at the set offered by Quntis. This is a kit that includes an 18W MFi certified USB C wall charger, plus a 1.8 meter USB C to Lightning cable. Its price is 27 euros.
ESR USB-C Charger 18W
Another charger that can be used to use the fast charge of the iPhone 11 is the ESR USB-C charger. It has 18W and Power Delivery 2.0 technology. In addition, it is equipped with an IC chip that automatically detects the type of load required and offers the optimal power for any connected device.
The ESR charger can be found on Amazon with a price of 15 euros. In addition to the charger we will need the USB-C to Lightning cable. ESR sells one, compatible with the fast charge of the iPhone 11, with a price of 14 euros (1 meter). Thus, the whole “pack” of ESR will cost us 29 euros.
CHAOYETECH wireless charger
And to finalize our selection, we have chosen a different charger. It is a wireless charging base compatible with fast charging. We will not get the 18W of the cable load, but we will get a more than decent 10W.
In addition, this charger is apple-shaped, very appropriate for iPhone 11 devices. The base has non-slip rubber so that it does not move and at the top we have an LED that indicates the status of the charge. Its price on Amazon is 24 euros.
Of course, to take advantage of the fast charging capacity we will need to buy a compatible power adapter, like any of those we have seen previously.
