Xiaomi Redmi 9C: more camera, processor and with fingerprint reader
The Redmi 9C also packs that big 5,000 mAh battery, as well as a 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage configuration. The difference is in the processor. It has a slightly higher version: MediaTek Helio G35 instead of the G25. In addition, the photographic section also changes.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9C has a triple main camera. The primary sensor is kept in 13 megapixel resolution. A second wide-angle camera is also added, which in this case has a resolution of 5 megapixels. The third sensor is depth, with a resolution of 3 megapixels. The front camera is also the same: 5 megapixels.
Xiaomi's Xiaomi Redmi 9C arrives in three colors: blue, black and orange. In all three cases with a front in black.
In the design of both terminals we also see differences. Although, again, few. Both models have a polycarbonate rear, the Redmi 9C's camera module is square, as it houses the three sensors and the LED flash, while the Redmi 9A has a module in an upright position. In addition, the Redmi 9C has a fingerprint reader as an unlocking method. Both include a headphone jack and have a panoramic front, with hardly any bezels and a drop-type notch.
Price and availability
The Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C can be purchased this July in Spain. The price of the 9A is 100 euros, while the Xiaomi Redmi 9C costs 120 euros. That is, there is only 20 euros difference between the two devices.
Both devices offer very good features for those users who want a basic mobile, but with good autonomy. Its 5,000 mAh is more than enough to forget about the charger for a couple of days with intensive use. Especially considering the low resolution of the screen, which will help in the battery. Which model is best to buy? For the price, the Redmi 9C is a better option, as it offers more versatility in the camera, a slightly more powerful processor and a fingerprint reader.
