The Huawei Mate 20 X is one of the most important mobiles of the company. It is a terminal focused on games and productivity, and that is why Huawei announced different accessories with this mobile. A stylus similar to that incorporated in their tablets and a GamePad that was coupled via USB C and bluetooth and allowed us to play a large amount of juices with this controller. It seems that the Chinese company has plans to launch new accessories. And not only that, also new mobiles compatible with these accessories.
Huawei could be working on a system similar to Motorola's MotoMods. That is, accessories that are attached to our mobile and allow us to increase the experience with the device. The USB C connection provides many possibilities, but so do the magnetic pins, like the ones we see on the back of Motorola devices, or Bluetooth connectivity. Various Huawei and Honor accessories have appeared in a Bluetooth certification under different model names. In the list we can see devices with names such as 'anna-game-case' or 'Anna-healt case', referring to accessories (specifically cases) for playing or health. We do not know how these accessories could be attached, but there are several possibilities.
USB C? Bluetooth?
- Via USB C: the Mate 20 X game controller connects via USB C. It is the simplest and most comfortable way, although somewhat annoying if we want to charge our device while we play. Even so, some accessories could be attached via USB C connection.
- Via pins: These new Huawei accessories could come with the possibility of attaching via magnetic pins on the back. Something very similar to what we see in Motorola terminals. For this, the next Huawei phones should have pins on the back.
- Via Bluettoh: the most likely option considering that the accessories have appeared in a bluetooth certification. They would be housings that are attached to the terminal and are connected via bluetooth.
Be that as it may, the list reveals that these accessories would reach future Huawei terminals, and that no names of the company's previous models appear. We will likely see them in the Huawei Mate 30, although there is no information yet.
