The huawei p30 and p30 pro receive two views to record with two cameras at the same time
Table of contents:
We could see it a few weeks ago in the Chinese ROM of the Huawei P30 Pro and today it officially arrives on all Huawei P30 and P30. We are talking about the Dual View or Two Views mode, the characteristic of the terminals of the Chinese firm that allows recording video from two different sensors at the same time, in such a way that we can obtain a more open plane and another more closed in the same video without the need. resorting to two different devices.
The update in question has been released today, and it is expected that it will arrive in a phased manner to both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro during the next few days.
Recording with two cameras at the same time is already possible on the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro
As we could see at the end of April in the Chinese ROM of the Huawei P30 Pro, the Dual View mode (Two Views in Spanish) allows, among other things, to capture video with two of the sensors of both the P30 and the P30 Pro.

Specifically, the new update of EMUI 9.1 in its B153 version includes the capture and recording from the main sensor of the P30 and the telephoto sensor. Thanks to the latter we can capture a much closer plane of the scene without loss of detail, having an optical zoom of up to 5x in the case of the P30 Pro and 3x in the case of the P30.
The company has also announced that the new mode supports the zoom of the telephoto sensor in real time, in such a way that we can enlarge the image during the video recording without resorting to subsequent edits.
This same enlargement is also compatible with the main sensor, so we can zoom in on the image in both video spaces. What we cannot do is choose the type of lens used or the proportion of the two planes when recording the two scenes. The result in any case will be like the one we can see in the video below.
As for the arrival of the update to the different versions of the P30, the company has stated that it will arrive in a phased manner over the next few days. Remember that to check for new updates we will have to resort to the Software Updates section within the EMUI Settings. Once the update is received, we can download it to our mobile to install it later.
