A few years ago, the tiny mobile screens of the early 2000s became the huge screens we are so used to today. A screen larger than four inches on a phone from 2008-2009 was already crazy, but nowadays it is no surprise that a large company announces a new smartphone with a screen larger than five inches. Where is the limit between the portable essence of mobiles? Will we continue to witness the growth of screens at the same rate as we have been up to now?
We can't answer that question for sure, but what we can do is take a look at the biggest smartphones on the market. If someone already thought it exaggerated that phones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 are going to have a 5.25-inch screen… be careful with the phones that appear below!
Hisense X1
The Chinese company Hisense presented a new smartphone called the Hisense X1 at the recent CES 2014 technology event. We are facing a phone that incorporates a screen IPS LCD of 6.8 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is a terminal that will be available in the United States from summer, and it is quite unlikely that we will see it in Europe.

CoolPad Halo
CoolPad is a Chinese manufacturer that currently does not have much of a presence in Europe, but even so this company took advantage of the recent CES 2014 event to present a new terminal called CoolPad Halo that incorporates a seven-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. pixels.
