Sony, Alcatel, ZTE, Huawei, Lenovo… all have been present at IFA 2016 and they all had succulent news in their backpack. Fair Berlin has been very interesting for all sectors (you know that there are presented from computers to phones, to tablets, refrigerators and vacuum cleaners last generation), but we also have closely followed the launches dedicated to telephony intelligent. Today we want to take a look at the five most interesting smartphones we have seen at IFA 2016. All will hit the market before the end of the year. Would you like to release any of these?
1. Huawei Nova Plus
The Huawei Nova Plus is, along with the Huawei Nova, one of the proposals presented by the Chinese company Huawei at the fair. It is part of a medium-high range, but it has a more or less affordable price for a large majority of pockets. It stands out for having an elegant design, entirely made of metal, and with a one hundred percent aluminum finish. The screen has dimensions of 5.5 inches and a Full HD resolution, in addition to a 2.5D curved glass. The body is ultra-thin, with a very compact appearance and a thickness of just 7.3 millimeters. It should be noted, on the other hand, that it enjoys a good Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with eight cores at 2 GHz and that it is equipped with 3 GB of RAM. This will allow users to enjoy good performance, both when running different applications and other content with higher graphic loads.
We would emphasize also that has a main 16 megapixel camera and a secondary of 8 megapixels, both with flash and various corresponding complementary options. But surely the most powerful aspect is the battery. And it is that we have a 3,340 milliamp battery, capable of providing a 4G browsing time of up to 18 hours and a use of 52 hours: two full days without having to go through the load. If we add that the value for money is great, it is most likely that this Huawei Nova Plus will become Huawei's new best seller : 430 euros. It will be in stores from October.
2. Alcatel Shine Lite
And here we have a proposal that seems especially made for a young audience. The new Alcatel Shine Lite is pretty, it's fun, and it's affordable too. Alcatel has introduced a phone equipped with a 5 - inch screen and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and a processor architecture four cores (MT6737) and 2GB of RAM. It promises to offer remarkable performance, combining its capacity with 16 GB of internal storage. But if there is something that especially draws the attention of this team, it is, without a doubt, the camera system. The main sensor has 13 megapixels, with dual-tone rear flash and endless options for better results. In addition, the selfie camera is five megapixels and offers us the possibility of taking selfies with a flash, with much more vivid and luminous results.
It includes a customizable fingerprint recognition system and a whole series of applications to unleash our creativity through photos. As we indicated, you will find it available for 200 euros.
3. Lenovo Moto Z Play
The current owner of Motorola, Lenovo, has unveiled some interesting equipment at IFA 2016. One of them is the Lenovo Moto Z Play, a phone with a glass-topped design and compatible with the so-called Moto Mods, accessories that can be attached to the smartphone to expand and enhance its features. The phone is also equipped with a 5.5-inch screen, with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a resulting density of 403 dots per inch. It measures 156.4 x 76.4 x 6.99 mm and weighs 165 gramsAnd although it is not waterproof, it has a nano-coating that protects it from accidental splashes. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and an Adreno 506 650MHz graphics card , plus 3GB of RAM. The internal memory is 32 GB, but can be expanded with external cards up to 2 TB.
It includes a good dual sensor of 16 megapixels, LED flash and ability to record high - quality video: Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The second camera has 5 megapixels and is very well equipped to offer selfies to match. Another of its great advantages is, without a doubt, autonomy. And it is that the Lenovo Moto Z Play enjoys a lithium-ion battery with 3,510 milliamps capacity and the possibility of achieving a range of up to 50 hours, more than two days without going through the load. Its price could be over 500 euros.
4. ZTE Axon 7 mini
It bears the tagline "mini" and it would have to be a more compact phone, but the truth is that it has a large 5.2-inch screen. And it's not bad at all. It has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 424 dots per inch. As for internal machinery, it is not short either. And is that the ZTE Axon 7 mini is planted with a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 processor with eight cores (4í — 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4í — 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53), an Adreno 405 graphics card and 3 GB of RAM memory. This makes it a powerful and well-endowed phone to offer performance to match the most demanding users. Regarding the rest of the options, it must be said that the ZTE Axon 7 mini boasts an internal memory of 32 GB, expandable with microSD cards of up to 256 GB. Thus, if you are one of those who usually store a lot of content, this device will come in handy.
It has a camera of 16 megapixels with which we will get good results, and a second sensor, in this case on the front, with 8 megapixels. This will allow us to capture very good selfies and record up to 1080p. The battery has a capacity of 2,705 milliamps, so that according to ZTE's own forecasts, it can offer a range of 270 hours in standby and 15 hours in 3G mode. Its price? About 300 euros in the free market.
5. Sony Xperia XZ
And we end up with one last device that also deserves to be on this list of highlights. It is the Sony Xperia XZ, a phone with a completely new design, but with some features that seek to attract new users. To begin with, it should be noted that the device has a 5.2-inch Full HD screen and a processor that seeks to offer good performance. It is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (the same one that we already found in the Sony Xperia X Performance), in this case combined with 3 GB of RAM and with an internal capacity of 64 GB. This, in addition, is expandable with microSD cards of up to 256 GB.
The new flagship of the Japanese, in addition, has changed a bit in terms of design. It is similar to the architecture of the members of the Xperia family, but this time a new material called Alkaleido has been used, which is nothing more than a mixture between metal and polymer. This makes the touch of the case very original, with a matte look and three color versions: Forest Blue (blue), Mineral Black (black) and Platinum (silver). In addition, and as is usual in the firm's equipment, it has an IP68 certification that makes it resistant to water and dust. The camera has a 23 megapixel 1 / 2.3 ”Exmor RS sensor, in addition to the triple image sensor technology, among many other features that will help us take good photos. The front camera is 13 megapixels, so quality is assured.
The battery could be a bit looser (2,900 milliamps), but overall, it seems like a good proposition, with a price yet to be confirmed.
