The 5 most interesting xiaomi and meizu mobiles of this year
Table of contents:
The more time passes, the more the user trusts certain brands that, a priori, were very unknown to him. Chinese brands with all the guarantees (we are not talking about clones or gross imitations) but that do not belong to the mass commercial circuit, such as Samsung or LG. Perhaps, the case of Xiaomi gave a bit of the rest: being a Chinese brand, many users have placed their trust in it from the beginning. Its terminals always bet on the balance between price and features. Little by little, more customers venture to acquire a Xiaomi terminal, either through national distributors or from some of the conglomerates of Chinese stores such as Aliexpress or Gearbest.
The case of Meizu is quite significant to how Chinese brands are today (with the exception of ZTE and Huawei): their products still do not have the massive recognition of the user but, little by little, they are becoming known. So that these brands stop sounding like Chinese (worth the redundancy), we have prepared a list with 5 of the most seductive and attractive launches of Xiaomi and Meizu. Who knows, maybe your next terminal may be among them. With you, these are the 5 most interesting Xiaomi and Meizu mobiles of this year 2017.
Xiaomi Mi 5X
The Xiaomi Mi 5X we could place it as an example of a model mid-range with high-end touches that will surprise many due to its price. Next you will see why, when we go through its characteristics. But we give you a hint: the camera will make you see double.
The design of this Xiaomi Mi 5X is sober and conventional. Everything in it is mid-range, from the size of the screen, 5.5 inches, to its resolution, Full HD. This results in a density of about 400 pixels per inch, sufficient for the consumption of good quality multimedia content. Do not expect, therefore, QHD resolution.
As for the processor, we have a Snapdragon 625 combined with 4 GB of RAM. This means that, almost certainly, you will be able to play games that require good performance, as well as being able to handle various applications in the background without slowing down the mobile. It is not the latest Qualcomm processor, but it is a model that has terminals like the new Moto G5 Plus.
And the cameras? Well surprise: we have a double main camera. Both sensors with 12 megapixels, focal aperture f / 2.2, phase detection autofocus and 2x optical zoom. The selfie camera is more restrained: 5 megapixels and 1080p recording. In the rest of the specifications, we find a 3,080 mAh battery with fast charging, reversible USB type C, FM radio and a fingerprint sensor on the back. No sign of NFC connection.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X will be priced at approximately 200 euros, as long as you buy it in the Chinese market. European distributors often increase the price in exchange for higher warranties and local technical service.
Xiaomi Mi 6
This is a slightly smaller phone than the previous one: 5.1 inches and we keep the Full HD resolution, so the pixel density increases. A premium looking mobile, made of ceramic with pronounced bezels on the front: a conservative design that reminds little of the infinity screen that many high-end 2017 ranges already show off.
In the rest of the specifications, we find the latest Qualcomm processor, Snapdragon 83 5, 6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage. Also dual main camera, although with improvements over the previous model. Here we see a larger focal aperture f / 1.8 which will increase the quality in night photos. Two 12-megapixel sensors, phase detection autofocus and 2x optical zoom complete the features of the main camera. The selfie camera has 8 megapixels and 1080p recording.
The battery promises to reach the end of the day with intense use (3,350 mAh) and also has a fast charge thanks to the USB Type C connector. We also find, of course, a fingerprint sensor, and an NFC connection. No sign of FM radio. This terminal can be yours for a price of about 400 euros.
Xiaomi Mi 5C
A terminal of adjusted size, as well as its price. For just over 200 euros we have 5.15 inches and Full HD resolution. Its processor is typical of the house, Xiaomi Surge S1, with eight cores and a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz. Its 3 GB of RAM, perhaps, we know little. We have 64GB of internal storage for all of our photos and videos.
The photographic section: we do not have a double camera here. The main one has 12 megapixels and a focal aperture of f / 2.2. Surprisingly, the selfie camera has better features, as it has an aperture of f / 2.0. The battery is 2,860 mAh and, although it does not seem too much, we must bear in mind that we have fast charging. Here we do have FM radio, USB type C but no NFC. Its retail price is around 200 euros.
Simply remind users that all terminals have Android 7 Nougat, although the layer is MIUI, Xiaomi's own.
Meizu Pro 7
This terminal of the Meizu brand has a 5.2-inch screen and Full HD resolution. A terminal that will please those who usually handle their mobile with one hand. What is really new about this Meizu Pro 7 is that it has a 2-inch screen on the back. On this screen we can have weather information and various notifications.
The Meizy Pro 7 targets the dual camera: two 12-megapixel and f / 2.0 sensors, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera and same aperture. Inside we see an eight-core Mediatek processor in its initial version and ten in its higher version. 4 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of ROM complete this section of specifications.
For the rest, everything we can expect from a mid-high-end mobile: fingerprint sensor, fast charging, USB type C, NFC and a battery that is around 3,000 mAh. All this for about 400 euros in stores like Aliexpress.
Meizu MX 7
This new Meizu MX 7 has not yet been officially presented, so all are rumors so far. It is expected to be a terminal with an infinite screen, MediaTek Helio P30 processor or, failing that, Snapdragon 600. It would be an abrupt change to put aside the Chinese MediaTek processor, but also welcome. The screen would be quite large, 5.7 inches, QHD resolution, 21-inch main camera and only 5 megapixels front. According to the Killerfeatures website, this would be a real image of the Meizu MX 7.
These are the 5 most interesting Xiaomi and Meizu models for this year 2017. If you were thinking of changing terminals, these are 5 good options. Which one do you prefer?
