Oppo Reno3, Mediatek processor and five cameras
The most modest model, called 'Vanilla Reno3' has a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a notch in the shape of a drop of water to house the selfie camera, which consists of a 32-megapixel sensor. It is a terminal built in glass and aluminum that offers a total weight of 181 grams, more or less in the average of similar terminals.
In relation to its quadruple main camera, we have a main sensor of no less than 64 megapixels, in addition to the usual ultra-wide-angle sensors and portrait mode, with which we can obtain images that look like a professional camera. In addition, it offers optical image stabilization, phase detection focus, LED flash and HDR modes, for balancing shadows and highlights, and panorama. We can also record video with 4K definition at 30 fps.
The great novelty of this terminal is the inclusion of a Mediatek processor, instead of the Snapdragon that its superior model does carry. This is a processor compatible with 5G connectivity, called Dimensity 1000L, a processor that we could compare with the Snapdragon 765G and that is specially designed to perform efficiently in the gaming section. According to the brand, this processor will perform 20% faster than 'other processors with Cortex-A76 cores.
In relation to the connectivity section, as we said before, we can connect to 5G networks (currently, only available at Vodafone rates), in addition to having NFC technology for mobile payments and FM radio. Of course, we will have Bluetooth 5.0, dual band WiFi and GPS. And the battery? Well, we will have a 4,025 mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology that promises from 0% to 50% in 20 minutes.
The price of this Oppo Reno3 is 440 euros for the model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and 475 euros for the 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
Oppo Reno3 Pro, Snapdragon special for gamers and 5G
And now we go with the top model of the Oppo range with 5G. The screen of this Oppo Reno3 Pro is also 6.5 inches but with a hole punched in the screen for the selfie camera, also 32 megapixels. It also has a 90 Hz refresh technology and 180 Hz screen touch detection speed to avoid lags in video games. In addition, it is compatible with DCI-P3, the color space in which cinema is projected and supports HDR10 +.
In the photographic section we find, again, four main cameras, with a main 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle, 13-megapixel telephoto lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. As for the processor, we find the Snapdragon 765G specially designed to offer maximum performance in mobile video games. There are no variations in the connectivity or battery section in relation to the Oppo Reno3.
This new mobile can also be purchased in a special model called Pantone 2020 that offers the user a blue and white experience, including chargers and cover. This model is offered in the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM variant at an exchange price of 540 euros. Starting on January 10, the top model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage can be reserved for 580 euros at the exchange.
The price of the other two models will depend on storage and RAM: we have the cheapest 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage for 515 euros at the exchange rate that can be booked from December 31.
