If you have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, stay tuned, because you will soon have a pending update as indicated in SamMobile. Security and performance updates are more than common for these types of devices. Much more when they have just been launched on the market. This is the case of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which has just received a data package with important news.
Be careful, this is not an operating system update. With the addition of this data pack, we will not change the version of the operating system. But we will make a few performance and stability improvements.
Samsung, however, has forgotten to indicate that this update includes an important advance for Live Focus or Dynamic Focus , a shooting mode of the camera. The North American operator Verizon has been in charge of adding it to the changelog or change log. And although we are facing minor improvements, we can already advance that the news will be quite useful.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 camera improvements
Dynamic focus is a feature we find in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 camera. But what exactly is it for? As you already know, the Samsung device enjoys a dual camera system, with which users can play more and get snapshots that they would not get, not even close, with a normal camera.
The dynamic focus system is for taking photos with Bokeh effect. In this way, you can make your subject stand out from the rest. If the results obtained do not satisfy you, you will have the option to adjust the background blur level afterwards.
From now on, and thanks to this update, you will see indications so that the photo turns out well. You can see, for example, "Move away from the subject. " If there is not enough light to make the capture, you will also be warned.
To all this, it should be noted that the signs '+' and '-' will also appear in the slider, which is used to adjust the level of blurring of the background. In this way, you can instantly make the blur go to the maximum or just the opposite, leaving it to zero.
Another major improvement: the button used to switch between the front and rear cameras has been replaced by a back button. From now on, it will be located at the top left of the screen. This will come in handy if you have the navigation keys on the screen set to hide by default. Of course, the button becomes the camera switch again when we leave the dynamic focus mode.
How to install the update on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8
As you can see, it is a fairly simple update. As this is the second that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 receives, it is normal that improvements are being made on functions, buttons or options that should have been operational from the beginning. And for whatever reason they are not.
If you want to receive this update, you will have to wait for a notification. Most likely, you will receive it in the next few days or weeks, but you can also go to the Settings section > About the device> Updates to check if you have any data packages waiting.
Before updating, keep in mind that you must have the device well prepared. Make sure it is fully charged (at least 50% full) and that you are connected to a wireless WiFi network. This will provide stability during download and installation.
