A few hours ago Xiaomi announced that different functionalities of the Xiaomi Mi 9 would reach the rest of its terminals. Now we have another much more important news, Xiaomi has announced the terminals that will receive Android 9 Pie. Although yesterday Google announced the first beta of Android Q, this news is still good since Xiaomi usually updates terminals that have been on the market for a long time.
This update, of course, will reach the newest terminals first, regardless of their range. In fact, mid-range terminals like the Redmi Note 7 already have Android 9 Pie out of the box. Along with the update of the operating system would arrive MIUI 10, the most recent version of the Asian interface. Some terminals already have this version, in that case they would also be updated by changing the Android version and adding new features to MIUI 10. Terminals to update to Android P
The list of phones to be updated has been filtered thanks to a screenshot in which a table of the terminal's operating system can be seen. In this table we see that there are a large number of terminals in which it says "O", this refers to Android Oreo. The terminals that appear with this letter will not be updated to Android Pie at the moment. We cannot guarantee their update nor that they will not be updated, since Xiaomi usually listens to its users and it would not be strange for them to change their mind.
