- How to configure the NFC on your Xiaomi mobile
Perhaps you have heard of NFC technology in mobile phones and you are not sure what it consists of. NFC (Near Field Communication for its acronym in English) is a wireless technology that gives the possibility of establishing operations at short distances. Although it has different uses, the most popular is related to mobile payments. Currently there are many telephone brands that include this technology in their terminals. One of them is Xiaomi.
However, the company does not have NFC on all of its phones. There are only some models that incorporate it. Among them we can mention the Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S or Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. If you want to know the complete list of Xiaomi phones with NFC, do not stop reading. We reveal them all below.
Xiaomi Mi 9
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is one of the heavyweights of the manufacturer and among its features there is no lack of NFC for mobile payments. This terminal also comes with a fingerprint sensor under the panel, leaving the design freer of physical elements. In fact, the panel is given a special prominence, since it has almost no frames, although it does have a notch in the shape of a drop of water. This one has a size of 6.39 inches with FHD + resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 pixels. It is a Super AMOLED screen protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 system.
Among its technical features we can mention a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along with 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 64, 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. There is no lack of a triple main sensor of 48 +16 +12 megapixels, as well as a 24 megapixel front sensor for selfies. The Mi 9 also equips a 3,500 mAh battery with 20W fast charging and Android 9 Pie system under the customization layer of the MIUI 10 company.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is sold in Spain at a price of 450 euros.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is the economic version of the Mi 9, although the NFC technology has not been suppressed for that. It also has it. Its design is very similar to that of its older brother, although it includes a slightly smaller panel, 5.97 inches with Full HD resolution. Likewise, the Mi 9 SE also houses a less powerful processor inside. It includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712, an eight-core chip accompanied by up to 6 GB of RAM and a storage of 64 or 128 GB.
Like the Mi 9, the MI 9 SE has a triple main sensor, in its case 48 + 8 megapixels + 13 megapixels. The front camera stays at 20 megapixels. For its part, the battery is also somewhat less spacious, 3,070 mAh. Its price in Spain is 350 euros in black or blue.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S
Another of Xiaomi's devices with NFC is the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. This model boasts an all-screen design very similar to that of its predecessor, keeping the glass and ceramic body. Its panel has a size of 5.99 inches and an FHD + resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. It offers 600 nits brightness, 1,500: 1 contrast, and 95% NTSC coverage. Inside the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S there is room for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, which goes hand in hand with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
Regarding the photographic section, the Mi Mix 2S offers a dual main sensor composed of a first 12 megapixel Sony IMX363 wide-angle sensor with f / 1.8 aperture and 1.4 µm pixels. It also has a noise reduction system and Dual Pixel focus system. The second telephoto sensor is also 12 megapixels. This has an f / 2.0 aperture, 1 µm pixels and allows for 2x zoom. It should be noted that the camera has an artificial intelligence system, which allows adding a blur effect once the image is shot. Other of its features are a 3,400 mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging, another of its strengths. Buy this model in Spain from 530 euros.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
Finally, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is another of the Asian firm's phones to include NFC technology for mobile payments. This terminal not only stands out for this, it is also necessary to mention its sliding system to include the front sensor and thus avoid the notch on the panel. This results in the screen occupying practically the entire front, specifically 93.4%. We can say that the frames are very small, more than we are used to seeing on other mobiles. In addition, this is OLED type and has a size of 6.39 inches, a Full HD + resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) and a ratio of 19.5: 8.
Inside the Mi Mix 3 there is space for a SOC Snapdragon 845, accompanied by 6, 8 or 10 GB of RAM, as well as a storage of 128 or 256 GB. On the other hand, the terminal also has a double 12 + 12 megapixel camera, a 24 +2 megapixel camera for selfies, or a 4,000 mAh battery with wireless charging. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a price in Spain of 500 euros.
