Like the LG Optimus One, but with Gingerbread as standard. That is the initial impression caused by knowing the first characteristics and filtered images of what we could know as LG Univa, a mobile that corresponds to what we could classify as a mid-range smartphone.
It integrates a 3.5-inch screen (the same size as the iPhone) with HVGA resolution, as well as a processor with a speed of 800 MHz. It does not have the latest version of the Android system, but it does integrate, at least in the filtered captures, the previous one: Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread.
There is no news about when the LG Univa would arrive in stores around the world, in the same way that the price that it would have in the market is ignored. Although judging by the benefits that are already looming, it seems likely that we will see it circulating in shop windows during the Christmas season.
The rest of the benefits that have been known about this device point to a five megapixel camera ( no news about the power of video recording, although given the anticipated characteristics we doubt that it can film in HD 720p) and a connection system that is not leave out Wi-Fi or 3G.
Among the multimedia options that the LG Univa contemplates, we see that it includes DivX support, with which we could see videos downloaded from the Internet encoded with this compression format. Regarding the design, the guys from the Korean multinational have not put much effort into putting the LG Univa's case on the waist, since we see that it has a fairly thick profile, unlike other recent launches of the firm (like the LG Optimus Black).
