The LG technology brand has just announced the renewal of the LG Stylo, an entry range that is characterized by bringing to this sector of the catalog an element more typical of high-end terminals such as the stylus. The full name of this new terminal is LG Stylo 5, an update (rather timid) of the already known LG Stylo 4+ a year after its appearance. We have already announced that, for the moment, this terminal is sold exclusively with an American operator called 'Cricket' so, for now, in Europe, it has no signs of appearing.
This is what we can find in the LG Stylo 5, an entry-level device that has a price of 230 dollars, about 205 euros to change.

Large display, stylus and a single main camera
The new LG Stylo 5 has a 6.2-inch screen on a front without notch and with visible frames, with a 79.8% use of the front. The resolution of this IPS panel is 1080 x 2160, which means a density of 390 pixels per inch. As for the cameras, LG opts to leave a single sensor on both sides of the terminal. On the front we have 5 megapixels and Full HD video recording; on the rear, 18 megapixels with PDAF focus, LED flash and HDR and panorama modes.
One of the weakest aspects of this new LG is, without a doubt, that of the processor, because this time we will have the Snapdragon 450, a machine that has already been in existence for two years. It comes with 3 GB of RAM in addition to 32 GB of storage, which can be expanded thanks to a microSD card of up to 1 TB capacity.
We now go with the most prominent aspect of the terminal and for what is really new: the inclusion of a digital pen. Thanks to this pencil the user will be able to take notes and interact with a good handful of productivity applications. The official information does not provide more information about this pencil so we will have to wait for new tests to appear.
In terms of autonomy, we observe the not inconsiderable figure of 3,500 mAh although we lack the benefits of fast charging. Regarding the Android version, LG has seen fit to update its new mobile to Android 9 Pie, for now the latest stable version of Google's operating system, waiting for Android Q to become official.
From the rest of the specifications, we highlight the fingerprint sensor on the back and the USB Type C connectivity.
