LG has just made the renewal of its K range official with three models aimed at the low and mid-range range. We are talking about the LG K41S, the LG K51S and the LG K61. The three phones come to update the specification sheet of the current generation of the K range. The main novelty comes with the design, which is now based on a much more used front in relation to the screen. The photographic section is also renewed: all models have four cameras. Let's take a look at the rest of the improvements.
LG K41S, the most basic of the three
The LG K41S is the cheapest phone from the Asian company. It comes with a 6.55-inch screen with TFT technology and HD + resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels). Its front part is accompanied by a notch in the shape of a drop of water and a chassis with MIL-STD-810G military resistance to shocks and falls.
The technical section of the K41S is made up of an 8-core processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. LG has not specified the model, although everything indicates that Mediatek will be in charge of signing the processor. Also, the phone has four cameras on its rear 13, 5, 2 and 2 megapixels with wide angle and macro lenses (the last sensor is intended to improve the bokeh in Portrait mode). The front camera consists of a single 8 megapixel sensor.
For the rest, the LG K41S has USB Type C 2.0, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 4,000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, it comes with Android 9 Pie as standard, a version that dates back 2 years.

The intermediate model comes with a pack of improvements that affect the four aspects that we have just mentioned. On the one hand, the design varies slightly as it has a hole-shaped notch that allows you to get better use of the body-screen on the front.
Speaking of its screen, now we find an IPS panel instead of TFT, although we still find ourselves with 6.55 inches of diagonal and HD + resolution. The technical section is also improved. The processor goes from 2 GHz to 2.3 GHz and the internal storage from 32 to 64 GB. The rest of the features are practically identical: 4,000 mAh battery, Android 9 Pie as the operating system, FM radio, Bluetooth 5.0…
Finally, it's time to talk about the cameras. The lens configuration is maintained and the main sensor is improved: from 13 to 32 megapixels. The front camera also increases in resolution: from 8 to 13 megapixels.
LG K61, the most complete comes with more improvements
The third model inherits the design of the K51S and comes with several technical improvements. The most significant has to do with the screen. We went from HD + to Full HD + (2,340 x 1080 pixels). The memory configuration also suffers improvements, as we now have 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
If we talk about the rest of the improvements, the phone is limited to increasing the resolution of several of its cameras. For example, the main sensor happens to be 48 megapixels. The wide angle goes to 8 megapixels and the depth sensor goes to 5 megapixels. The front camera, by the way, has 16 megapixels. Unfortunately, we still have Android 9 Pie.
Price and availability of the LG K41S, K51S and K61
LG has just announced the price route time for its three terminals. They will be available from May 18 for 160, 200 and 250 euros at the usual points of sale and in different colors depending on the version.
