LG begins CES 2019 in Las Vegas with a new terminal that falls between the mid-range and the high-end. The LG Q9 is a mobile with a very interesting multimedia section, since it has surround sound and BoomBox technology, as well as a 6.1-inch screen with a panoramic format and a QHD + resolution. On the other hand, the LG Q9 includes a design very similar to the G7 ThinQ, an eight-core processor and water resistance. We tell you below all the details and their technical specifications.
The LG Q9 has a 6.1-inch panel , has a 19.5: 9 widescreen format and QHD + resolution (3120 x 1440 pixels). Of course, it also has HDR10. It is a screen very similar to the LG G7 ThinQ. In addition, with a notch in the upper area to house the camera, speaker and sensors. To the panel we add the sound specifications. It has Quad DAC Hi-Fi 32 bits, it is a configuration that avoids distorting the sound. It also includes BoomBox technology. This spreads the sound throughout the device for increased bass and more immersive sound. The results are noticeable when we leave the device on a flat surface, such as a table, since the terminal uses its own body to distribute the sound.

LG Q9, waterproof and with Google services
The LG Q9 does not lose in the performance section either. We have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, a chip from a few years ago that can provide the terminal with enough power. The processor is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which are also expandable via micro SD. As for the cameras, the Q9 only has a main lens with a resolution of 16 megapixels, while the front lens drops to 8 megapixels with wide angle. Finally, the terminal arrives with Android 8.1 Oreo, water resistance and with the configuration of Google Lens and the integrated Google Assistant.
In the design we see a device very similar to the G7 family, with a glass back in different colors, a fingerprint reader and a rounded camera. We found a panoramic screen with minimal frames and a notch of correct dimensions to be able to see the different notifications. The front camera, speaker and sensors are located in the notch. The frames are made of aluminum and with a matte finish, in the lower area it is located in USB C, headphone jack and speaker, while the buttons are located on the sides.
Price and availability.
The LG Q9 will go on sale in South Korea for a price of about 500,000 Wons, about 390 euros to change. At the moment, we do not know if this terminal will reach other markets.
