The mid-range terminals are also renewed every year. LG, for example, has wanted to update its LG Q60 by launching the new LG Q70. This mobile comes with better cameras, a new processor and other features that allow it to adapt to this year's mid-range catalog. Learn about all the features, news and prices of the LG Q70.
The LG Q70 is a terminal with a design very similar to its previous generation. The South Korean company has opted for a screen with hardly any frames, but we do not have a 'drop type' notch, as we do see in other models. In this case, a minimum frame is implemented in the upper part and another somewhat more pronounced in the lower area. The interesting thing about this device is that the camera is located directly on the screen, in a similar way to that of the Samsung Galaxy S10. In this way we get a better use of the front. Also, the lens is in the upper left area, on one side. Therefore, it should not be a hindrance in sight. Personally, I find it a better idea than a notch in the center of the screen.
Beyond the front, the rear features a glossy finish with a polycarbonate construction. We see a triple camera in the center, as well as a fingerprint reader just below. There is also the LG logo. The frames, which are made of aluminum, have a glossy finish. As usual in LG phones, we see a button dedicated to the Google Assistant on the left side, next to the volume button. The power button is located on the right side. Is this new Q70 resistant? Yes, the South Korean company has also passed a military certification, so the device is resistant to small drops and bumps. As well as at high and low temperatures. It is also waterproof, with an IP68 certification.

13 megapixel triple camera
The LG Q70 arrives with a renewed triple camera. Mainly with more megapixels in the lenses, so we also expect better quality when taking pictures. The main camera has a 13 megapixel sensor with an f71.8 aperture. It is followed by a wide-angle sensor that is also 13 megapixels. Finally, a depth of field sensor with 5 megapixels. This will be in charge of taking photos with a blur effect. The main camera zooms up to 16 megapixels.
As for the specifications, the company has wanted to bet on Qualcomm in this model. Specifically, for the Snapdragon 675, an eight-core processor that is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and an internal memory of 64 GB, which is expandable via micro SD. The screen of this device is 6.4 inches with a Full HD + resolution. All this with a 4,000 mAh battery, which also includes fast charging.
Price and availability
The LG Q70 has been unveiled in Korea, so we don't know yet if it will be available in other markets. It is very likely that the company will announce its global launch during the IFA in Berlin, which will take place on February 6. Its price in the Asian market is 548,900 won, which would be about 410 euros to change. While it is true that the price could change in Spain, it is very unlikely that the terminal will rise to 500 euros.
