LG has wanted to bring its FullVision screen to the mid-range. For this a few days ago they presented the LG Q6, a mobile that maintains the frameless design seen in the LG G6 but with a more competitive price. A team that brings us a 5.5-inch panel in the body of one of 5. It is not one of the most powerful mobiles on the market, but if you are looking for design it can be a great choice. The LG Q6 will arrive in Spain in the first half of August at a price of 350 euros. Now that it has arrived in our country, we are going to review its characteristics.

Infinite screen FullVision
Without a doubt, the most outstanding feature of the LG Q6 is its screen. The Koreans have wanted to bring the screen without frames to the mid-range. This allows you to have a larger panel in a terminal that can be used with one hand.
More specifically, the LG Q6 equips a panel resolution of 5.5 inch FHD + 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. The screen occupies 78% of the front, which allows the general size of the terminal to be more similar to a 5-inch mobile. So LG hits first on something that we think may be trending in the coming months.
This great design is accompanied by some functions that allow you to make the most of the space. For example, we can divide the screen into two perfectly square windows, visible vertically or horizontally. In addition, the square camera functionality is included, which allows you to combine two images into one and create square collages.
Bulletproof design
Ok, it's a bit of an exaggeration, but LG wanted to highlight the durability of the LG Q6. The terminal has a metal frame that is constructed of 7000 series aluminum. This material is a strong alloy and is commonly used in the aerospace and marine industries. In addition, the corners have been rounded to dissipate the energy of the impact when the device falls.
The LG Q6 has been designed with the MIL-STD 810G standard in mind, a standard that tests and measures the reaction of devices to extreme temperatures, rain, humidity, sand and dust to determine their suitability for use by the United States military..
Despite this resistance, the LG Q6 is not IPX certified against water and dust. Otherwise, the LG Q6 has a very clean design. There are no physical buttons on the front. The back is shiny and only the camera and a small speaker stand out in one of the corners.
No sign of the double camera
Of course, LG has preferred to leave the dual camera system for its flagship. Although it is true that they could have opted for a simpler set, especially considering that there are already many mobiles with dual cameras in the mid-range.
Thus, the LG Q6 has a lens with a resolution of 13 megapixels and an aperture of f / 2.2. The results of this camera in optimal conditions are quite good, with colorful and well detailed photos. In low light conditions is when it suffers something else.
On the other hand, on the front we have a 5 megapixel sensor of a 100 degree wide angle type.
As for the rest of the technical characteristics, the LG Q6 bets on a Snapdragon 435 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and a 3,000 milliamp battery.
Price and availability
The LG Q6 will arrive in Spain in the first half of August at a price of 350 euros. The terminal will be available in various colors to suit the taste of users.
In short, a mobile very to take into account in the mid-range if you are looking for something different. The FullVision screen is sure to give a lot to talk about.
