The LG V50 ThinQ is one of the most interesting mobiles of the South Korean company. Also one of the most risky, especially for that second screen that fortunately for some, comes as an interesting accessory where you can add more productivity and multimedia options to the device. It seems that LG likes this new type of terminal and could announce a new mobile with a second screen. Will it be the LG V60 ThinQ?
LG has published a video on its YouTube channel referring to a new presentation during the IFA 2019, which will take place during the month of September in Berlin. In the video we can see the screen of an 8-bit mobile phone running a kind of game. In the middle of the video we can see how a second screen opens, referring to the fact that the terminal will have another panel that could be attached to the device. Something like the LG V50 ThinQ. The interesting and novel thing about this next second screen is that it will have a small panel on the front.
This is a difference compared to the LG V50 ThinQ, since the second screen does not have that small 'Display' on the front that allows us to see the time and notifications. The filing date is September 6, 2019.
Will it be the LG V60 ThinQ?
LG does not realize what mobile it is, but we can assume that it will be the LG V60 ThinQ. The company is announcing these high-end devices every 6 months, so we would not be surprised to see a renewal for the 5G model. It could also be a new high-end smartphone belonging to the G series. Or, a simple renewal of the V50 ThinQ with some improvements and new features. The strange thing is that a month after its presentation, the terminal has not yet been filtered. We will probably know more news soon, as well as the name of this device.
Can it be a flexible mobile? It is unlikely considering that in the video we see the same system as the LG V50, so we believe that it is an external screen that is attached to the terminal.
