When we are still assimilating the presentation of the new LG G3 from the South Korean company LG, a leak has revealed that this manufacturer could be working on a new mobile that would incorporate a six-inch screen. But beyond its size, the real novelty of this smartphone would lie in the quality of the image on the screen. Rumors suggest that we would be looking at a screen whose pixel density would be set at 491 ppi, which would not be that far from the 538 ppi pixel density on the screen with which the LG G3 surprised us.
The information regarding this new LG mobile phone is quite limited. We know little about this new phablet (that is, a hybrid between a mobile and a tablet) other than that its official presentation should take place during the SID 2014 event held in San Francisco (United States) between 3 and 5 of june. During this presentation, new televisions will also be seen whose screen size will be between 50 and 105 inches (with high-resolution Ultra HD type).
When talking about the screens of current smartphones we must know that the term pixel density, in short, anticipates the quality of the screen that we can find in a mobile. The higher this number, the sharper the image on the screen. And that is precisely the screen that the big manufacturers are currently maintaining. In fact, a senior LG official recently commented that they were already working on screens with a pixel density of around 600 and even 700 ppi.
Another novelty that is expected from LG for this year 2014 is the presentation of a new successor for the LG G Flex. We are talking about a mobile that has a really peculiar shape, since it incorporates a curved design that until now we have never seen in the mobile phone market (or at least not so pronounced). This new LG G Flex is also a mystery, and in fact practically no certain data is known beyond that its official presentation will take place during this year 2014. Presumably the LG G Flex 2 will keep the curved design and self-repairing case that have managed to make it one of the most striking mobile of the year.
We will be attentive to the news that occurs during the SID 2014 event that will be held from June 3 to June 5 of the same month. During this event we will see if the mysterious six-inch mobile corresponds to the LG G Flex 2 or if, instead, it is a new model about which we have not received any data so far. We will also have to wait a few days to know if there will be a live broadcast of the event that could allow us to know all the news in real time.
