After rumors that the new LG G3 would hit the market at the beginning of this year 2014, this time it has been known that the South Korean company LG could be working on another smartphone completely different from what was initially expected. It would be a new version of the LG G Pro that was officially presented back in October 2013.
Until a few days ago, all the rumors pointed to LG launching the new LG G3 at the beginning of this year to try to face its direct competition: Samsung with its new Galaxy S5. This time it has been known that LG's next smartphone will be the LG G Pro 2, as announced by the Korean newspaper Naver. This phone should reach the market around March of this year. While it is true that for now there is no official data in this regard, local Korean sources indicate that the LG G Pro 2 will incorporate a Quad HD screen ofYou 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Along with this rumor, more specifications of the phone have not been released, but obviously its main features will be improved in the new version of the terminal (will LG take this opportunity to incorporate its eight-core processor or will it leave it for the LG G3 ?).
The LG G Pro is a smartphone which went on the market in October 2013. It incorporates a screen of 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. With processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 and memory RAM of two gigabytes, this terminal functions at a clock frequency of 1.7 GHz. The internal storage is more than enough for everyday use, since its 32 GigaBytes practically do not require us to buy a microSD card to increase the memory capacity. To these characteristics we must add a 2.1 megapixel front cameraand a main rear camera megapixel thirteen accompanied by flash LED to illuminate the photos you take at night.
The idea that LG could first launch a new version of the LG G Pro before releasing the new model of its flagship (the LG G2) is not far-fetched. Keep in mind that Samsung seems to have a considerable advantage in the manufacture of the Galaxy S5 compared to LG and the manufacture of its new LG G3. The launch of the new LG G Pro 2 could respond to a strategy that would try to face the South Korean company during the first months of the year in order to allow LG to have more time to develop the new LG G3. We must remember that this company has before it a major challenge for this year 2014, since Samsung has started the year with charged batteries and does not seem to be compassionate by sweeping away its competition.
Recall that the LG G Pro was released in Spain at a price of 550 euros, so it is to be expected that the new version of the terminal will come with a very similar price that will probably not exceed 600 or 650 euros.
