LG Optimus Sol is a terminal with Android and will belong to the mid-range of the company. Furthermore, it is expected that when it is available for purchase, its price on the free market will be 300 euros and that Vodafone will be the operator in charge of offering it in its catalog of offers in the last third of this year 2011. First of all, its screen will use AMOLED technology and will have a diagonal size of 3.8 inches. These types of screens are characterized by showing a much higher image quality compared to LCD panels and, in addition, their energy consumption is significantly lower. Therefore, the user will notice that its battery life is much longer on a day-to-day basis.
Meanwhile, inside, LG Optimus Sol offers a single-core processor with a working frequency of a GigaHercio. Another relevant aspect is its rear camera. This will have a five megapixel sensor, although it will not be accompanied by a built-in flash. Of course, at the front of the design there is a webcam to make video calls, both with WiFi and 3G networks.
LG Optimus Sol will be available in two colors: glossy black -as can be seen in the video- and silver. In addition, the version of Android that will be installed is Gingerbread.
