Although it has the same surname as the latest super mobile from another Korean company, the LG Optimus Note has another main feature very different from the Samsung model. It is also an advanced mobile with a large screen. However, it falls short of the 5.3 inches of the Samsung Galaxy Note or the 4.3 inches of the Samsung Galaxy S2. The smartphone of LG has a multi - touch screen four inches diagonally.
Also, if the Samsung Galaxy Note model has its great asset in that it is accompanied by a stylus that will serve to be used as a notepad, this LG Optimus Note has a full QWERTY keyboard integrated under the touch panel and of a sliding type. In this way, it becomes an ideal companion for professional users who need to write long texts outside the office. These could be some examples: answering emails, editing office documents or simply chatting with coworkers.
On the other hand, it is not a thin terminal; its thickness is 12.3 millimeters, but it is understandable since having an integrated keyboard makes the mobile take up a little more space in the pockets. Going back to its four-inch screen, this one uses NOVA technology. It is the same one used by another model from the Korean manufacturer: LG Optimus Black. And the main curiosity of this one is that a really spectacular brightness is achieved reaching values of 700 nits of luminosity.
In addition, LG Optimus Note comes equipped with the latest version of Android better known as Gingerbread. Therefore, the user will have the option of increasing the productivity of the mobile thanks to the download of third-party applications that will make it possible to get the most out of the device, on a day-to-day basis. It's not lacking in power either. And it is that inside there is housed a dual-core processor, for which NVIDIA is responsible with its Tegra 2 model. It works at a Gigahertz speed and is accompanied by a one GB RAM.
Continuing with more features, LG Optimus Note will have two cameras. The first and main one is on the back with a maximum resolution of five Megapixels and accompanied by an LED Flash. Meanwhile, on the front, there is a VGA camera to make video calls. What's more, thanks to the Android 2.3.4 version, the owner of this mobile will be able to use the video chat function of the Google Talk service.
Its internal memory houses up to eight GB of storage to keep all kinds of files (music, photos or videos). But if these GigaBytes are not enough, you can always use memory cards in microSD format of up to 32 GigaBytes. Finally, it is also known that it will have different types of connections. On the one hand, the wireless or without cables will be the following: Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, GPS and WiFi Direct. While cable connections will be an audio output of 3.5 mm, a port microUSB for synchronization and charging, plus a port HDMIto connect to a compatible monitor or television. At the moment the manufacturer has not commented on any prices or release dates.
