In 2010, the South Korean firm LG launched a mobile that was torn between the mid-range and the high-end within the Android mobile segment. It was the LG Optimus One, a phone that although it did not have powerful arguments against the most powerful and admired terminals of the moment - the Samsung Galaxy S, iPhone 4 and HTC Desire -, it certainly served for many users to get started in touch technology, finding in that terminal a very comfortable and relatively affordable device .
Today we know that the company wants to repeat the play with a successor to that device, which also meant a good percentage of company revenue. It would now be the LG Optimus 2, a tactile mobile that bets one hundred percent for being a mid-range terminal. It would be, to take a close reference, the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus from LG, since the benefits of both are quite similar.
In the case of the LG Optimus 2, the screen stays at 3.2 inches, which works in favor of a very compact format. That 's right: spend the same resolution as the Samsung mobile quoted, ie 320 x 480 pixels. The camera also plays in the same parameters: 3.2 megapixels as the highest quality of capture in photos, although it lacks an LED flash to illuminate the darkest scenes.
The operating system it carries is Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which runs on hardware where the 800 MHz processor is the center of performance. The internal memory is limited to 179 anecdotal MegaBytes, so it would be necessary to resort to microSD cards of up to 32 GB to be able to store music, video and applications.
In connections, the LG Optimus 2 offers a standard profile that happens to be compatible with 3G and Wi-Fi networks. It also carries FM radio tuner, port microUSB and Bluetooth 3.0, plus connector 3.5 mm headphone. The autonomy that the LG Optimus 2 reaches in use is about five hours in 3G mode, as well as about seven days in rest.
