This new member of the G series boasts two screens and a combination of features that will captivate users looking for a different proposal or a device focused on multitasking.
Let's review in detail the LG G8X ThingQ proposal
LG G8X ThingQ Power and Performance
LG G8X ThinQ runs on Android 9.0 Pie and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with the possibility of increasing up to 2TB with microSD.
And in terms of autonomy, we have a 4000 mAh battery that will give enough room for an intense day using the device. And the bonus of having Quick Charge 3.0 fast charge.
Double screen with new dynamics
This dynamic dual screen seems ideal for those pro multitasking or who want to take advantage of multimedia content from the mobile. The main screen is 6.4-inch OLED Full Vision, and thanks to the system that LG adopts we can have a secondary screen that is coupled with the same characteristics.
This combination of screens implement a mechanism similar to the 2-in-1 laptops that allow you to rotate them 360 degrees to find different angles and have the view we want.
An ideal dynamic for games, watching videos or any multimedia content. And on the other hand, this model has the bonus of a 2.1-inch front display for quick consultation.
Smart cameras and features
Moving on to one of the sections that takes the most attention when choosing a mobile device, the cameras. LG has paid a lot of attention to offering an all-around selfie camera with a 32-megapixel sensor and a powerful combination of functions.
For example, the AI Action Shot function will allow you to take good photos in motion as it performs a recognition and stabilization process in seconds.
And taking into account that we do not always have bright environments to take a good selfie, it adds a mode called Reflector that detects the light conditions to automatically adjust the parameters for clear photographs.
The front camera also offers interesting features when recording videos such as image stability or creating 4K time-lapse. And there is also the possibility to switch cameras to record from different perspectives.
And we do not forget the proposed camera on the back with a combination of a 13 megapixel super wide-angle sensor and a standard 12 megapixel sensor.
Price and availability
LG has promised that this new model of the G family will be available in Spain before the end of 2019. At the moment, no details of the price have been revealed.
