Back in April the rumor appeared that LG was preparing an LG G6 Mini. Back then specifications and even various images were leaked. Now the well-known leaker Evan Blass has posted on Twitter that the supposed LG G6 Mini could arrive as the LG Q6. If it is true, its supposed characteristics would highlight a screen with an 18: 9 format and a simple camera system. At least that's what the well-known leaker says.
According to Evan Blass, the one we all thought was the LG G6 Mini will be called the LG Q6. Apparently the terminal has been seen in FCC recently with model number M700. And if the rumors are true, this terminal would have the same design as its older brother. However, just as the LG G6's screen is 5.7 inches, that of the supposed LG Q6 will be 5.4 inches.
Still, the screen format will be the same, 18: 9. Furthermore, according to the well-known filter, the device will have a body-screen ratio of 80%. If so, this figure would be above that of his older brother, with 78.6%.
As for the rest of the technical characteristics, we do not know what the supposed LG G6 Mini will keep inside. The Korean company could choose to keep the Snapdragon 821 processor. But also to use one of Qualcomm's new mid-range processor. What it does seem is that it will arrive with 3 GB of RAM. This leads us to assume that LG will opt for a mid-range processor.
Another of the great mysteries that surrounds the LG G6 Mini or LG Q6 is the camera. The first leaks, including the images you have above, show a double camera. However, today Evan Blass posted that come with a simple 13 - megapixel camera.
For the rest, we know what we see in the images. For example, the charging and data connector will be a USB Type-C. It will also have a headphone jack on the top of the mobile.
At the moment we do not know a possible price or launch date. What's more, it is not even certain that the LG G6 Mini will reach Europe. Hopefully LG will think about it and allow us to enjoy this mobile.
