Despite its absence during the Mobile World Congress 2015 in terms of high-end mobile presentations, the South Korean company LG is also preparing a flagship for this year. We are talking about the LG G4, a smartphone that has starred in new leaked images in which it seems to be revealed that the successor to the LG G3 could incorporate a slightly curved design similar to the curved shape of the recently presented LG G Flex 2.
These images seem to belong to the official press material with which LG probably planned to announce the LG G4 in the not too distant future. In them you can see a smartphone whose design is halfway between the LG G3 and the LG G Flex 2. And it is that, while on the one hand characteristics such as the physical buttons located on the back of the mobile are maintained, on the other hand it turns out that LG has decided to slightly curve the design of the case (without apparently becoming a curvature as remarkable as that of the G Flex range mobiles)
But the peculiarities of the supposed LG G4 that have appeared leaked in these images distributed by the French website NoWhereElse do not end there . On the front of the mobile, the front camera is particularly striking, which incorporates a wide-angle sensor probably aimed at offering self-profile photographs with a greater angle compared to that offered by the front camera of the LG G3. The main camera also appears to be formed by a larger sensor compared to the camera of its predecessor, and it is also appreciated that it is accompanied by a Dual-LED Flash.
The possibility that the new LG G4 may come with a curved design is not so far-fetched if we take into account the recent statements by Cho Juno, head of LG's mobile division, who assured in an interview that “ the LG G4 will incorporate a radically different from LG's latest high-end launches . " These statements were interpreted by many media with the idea that the LG G4 could incorporate a metal case, although the fact that a flagship of this size could come with a curved design would also mean a radical difference from its predecessors.
Regarding the possible technical specifications of the LG G4, today there is speculation about the possibility that this smartphone may come with a screen of a size still to be determined with Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 of eight cores, four gigabytes of RAM, up to 64 gigabytes of internal storage (not know whether it will be expandable, although the curved design should be no impediment, because the G Flex 2 incorporates a card slot microSD) and a main chamber of16 megapixels, plus some of the latest versions of Lollipop of the operating system Android.
