The South Korean manufacturer LG has just presented in Asian territory the new LG G3 Beat, a smartphone that corresponds to the compact version of the LG G3. Although for now it is only a mobile announced for the Asian market, everything seems to indicate that we could be facing the much rumored LG G3 Mini that we have already been talking about for a few weeks. Yes, the screen size again this LG G3 Beat (five inches with 720 pixels resolution) makes us have some doubts about whether we really are facing a veradera version " mini " of the LG G3, which incorporates a 5.5-inch screen.
The appearance of the LG G3 Beat is very similar to the design of the LG G3, and everything seems to indicate that the case is still plastic even despite having a remarkably successful metallic finish. If we take a look inside, we will see that the LG G3 Beat has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 40 0 quad-core processor that operates at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. The RAM memory capacity is set at 2 GigaBytes, while the internal storage space is 16 GigaBytes (it is unknown if there is also a microSD card slot). The operating system corresponds to Android in one of its most recent versions, Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Regarding the multimedia aspect, in the back of the LG G3 Beat we find a main chamber incorporating a sensor eight megapixels accompanied by LED flash that, so you can see the first images of the terminal, it seems to be also accompanied by the laser sensor with the Auto Focus Laser technology that we have known in the LG G3. The front camera, meanwhile, comes with a sensor two megapixels.
This version incorporates a dual SIM card slot (i.e. a Dual-SIM slot) and is compatible with both common wireless Internet connectivity (WiFi and 3G) as well as ultra-fast 4G LTE Internet connectivity. All these specifications are supported by a battery that incorporates a capacity of 2,450 mAh (milliamps).
The LG G3 Beat is expected to cost between 300 and 400 euros in Asian territory, and for now it is unknown if this terminal will also reach the European market. To do this, we will have to wait a few additional days for an official announcement by LG to be produced, although in principle everything seems to indicate that we are facing an edition intended only for Asian territory. Although the latest rumors related to the LG G3 Mini spoke precisely of a quad- core processor running 1.2 GHz (that is, the same processor as the one that incorporates this new LG G3 Beat), leaks also appeared that indicated that this new compact version would incorporate a smaller screen compared to the LG G2 Mini (which came with a 4.7-inch screen).
