Rumors about the arrival of an LG mobile with 5G have been growing in recent weeks. Everything indicates that the South Korean company will launch a model of the V series with 5G connectivity. Although the leaks ensured a launch during this same month of February, LG itself has given details of its launch.
According to the XDA Developers portal, LG said at a conference in Seoul that the LG V50 will arrive earlier than expected. The terminal will be presented on February 24, during the Mobile World Congress and simultaneously with the LG G8 ThinQ. LG ensures that this terminal will begin to be sold during the month of March or April as the device option with 5G connectivity. The LG G8 ThinQ will arrive on the same dates, but it is a device with a 4G option. The plans of the South Korean company are usually marked in this way: During the first months of the year, launch of the G series; during the second half of the year, launch of the V series. We recall that the LG GV40 ThinQ was announced last October.
LG thinks it's too early for a flexible mobile
LG could have changed this to get ahead of other manufacturers, such as Samsung or OnePlus. During the conference, they asked about LG's flex terminal. The company said it is too early to launch a flexible mobile on the market.
The V50 5G has already been seen in a supposed official image. Apparently, the terminal of the company will have a triple camera on the back of glass. As well as a front with minimal frames and a screen notch. Evan Blass, the user who leaked the photograph, assures that it will be an exclusive version of the Sprint operator. However, the South Korean has not mentioned anything about it. It seems that we will have to wait for the Mobile World Congress to know more details about this device.
