Last year LG launched one of the cheapest Android terminals on the market in the United States. It was called LG Aristo and, as you can imagine, it was a very basic terminal. Now the company has announced the launch of its successor. The new LG Aristo 2 has a 5-inch screen, a quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel main camera. Some features that are not bad if we take into account that its price is 60 dollars, about 50 euros to change.
The LG Aristo 2 comes to the North American market to replace its predecessor. Its design is very simple, with a plastic back cover and rounded finishes. But the most surprising thing is that on the back we see a fingerprint reader. In addition, the terminal has facial recognition, something unusual in a mobile with such a low price.
In the front we have the screen. This, of course, has a classic design. That is, we have an upper and lower frame of considerable size. The panel is IPS, has a size of 5 inches and an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
Inside the LG Aristo 2 we find a quad-core processor with a maximum speed of up to 1.4 GHz. Accompanying this chip we have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. This capacity can be expanded using a microSD card up to 32 GB.
The photographic section is responsible for a main camera with 13 megapixel resolution. This has an automatic focus system and LED flash. In addition, it is capable of recording video in Full HD resolution. On the other hand we have a camera for selfies with a 5 megapixel sensor. This comes with automatic and gesture firing system.
Finally, the LG Aristo 2 equips a 2,140 milliamp battery. It is not a very large capacity, but with the hardware that has the autonomy it should be decent. According to the manufacturer the terminal lasts up to 17 hours in conversation. As you can imagine, the connector to charge it is a microUSB.
In short, the LG Aristo 2 has very surprising features for its price. It is already on sale in some North American distributors with a price of 60 dollars, about 50 euros. At the moment we do not know if it will reach Europe.
