If you thought the phablets were dead, you were wrong. Lenovo has just announced at the Mobile World Congress what it has dubbed Lenovo Tab V7, an ultraportable tablet with smartphone functions. The most characteristic of this new device we are going to find, not so much in the performance section, but in its screen and battery. It has a 6.9-inch panel, 18: 9 ratio and Full HD resolution. Its battery has a capacity of 5,180 mAh with which, according to Lenovo, we will have autonomy for more than a day. This may be logical if we review its main features.

The Lenovo Tab V7 is a sleek device. Its thickness does not reach 7.9 millimeters, in addition the screen takes advantage of 81% of the front. There are hardly any frames on both sides, although it does not reach the level of other teams, which stand out more for giving greater prominence to the panel (and without notch). In any case, the Lenovo Tab V7 reaches 6.9 inches and a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels with a 18: 9 ratio.
Inside the phablet there is space for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 32 or 64 GB (expandable through the use of microSD cards). We can say that power is not its strong point, although it will be enough to use popular applications, such as Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp. Also for smooth browsing or writing emails. The same happens with the photographic section, it does not stand out in this regard. It includes a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel front sensor for selfies.
Where the Lenovo Tav V7 draws attention is in the battery section. Despite not having fast charging, its 5,180 mAh battery will allow autonomy for more than a day, according to data from Lenovo itself. To all this we must add a double stereo speaker with Dolby certification, fingerprint reader on the back or face unlock, so security will not be a problem.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Tab V7 arrives governed by Android 9.0 Pie and with everything necessary so that connections are not a nuisance, either through mobile data via 4G LTE or via WiFi. There is also Bluetooth 4.2, GPS or FM radio.
Price and availability
The Lenovo Tab V7 will begin to hit the market from April at a starting price of 250 euros for the 32 GB model. This is a consistent price considering its specifications. Therefore, if you want a computer with a large screen and that the battery is not your Achilles heel, you can start to save a little to have it in your possession in a few months. Of course, at the moment we do not know if it can be purchased directly in Spain or will have to resort to the international market.
