A matter of a week ago, the first rumors of a new phone never seen before appeared among us, belonging to the Motorola brand. Motorola has a long tradition in the manufacture of mobile phones, popular within the mid-range of the catalog, such as the Moto G range, and risky as the modular phone with the Moto Z and Moto Z Play. Now he tries with everything a high end pointing to the top of the catalog with a terminal whose name sounds familiar: Motorola Edge.
Now, the first results of its test in Geekbench have just been filtered, a test that offers an in-depth look at the specifications of the device, especially at the level of processor, RAM and internal storage. Thanks to the first information that the page specialized in this type of leakage Slashleaks has revealed, this is all that, supposedly, we are going to obtain if we opt for a Motorola Edge as our next acquisition.
This will be the new high-end Motorola
The first thing we see is the version of the operating system that, how could it be otherwise, is the latest: Android 10. With it, we will get better management of permissions in the applications, a system dark mode, improved screen gestures, smart responses to notifications and much more. We also know the full name of the terminal which is Motorola Edge Plus.
The strong thing comes now, since we can have no less than 12 GB of RAM. It must be remembered that, thanks to this dedicated virtual space, the user will be able to run, at the same time, many more and more demanding applications without the terminal being slow or presenting delays and jerks in its operation. Phones such as the new Xiaomi terror, the Realme X2 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ or the Black Shark Pro, a mobile dedicated to gaming from the Xiaomi brand, have a 12 GB RAM memory.
As for the processor, taking into account the RAM it incorporates, we hope it is a highly anticipated high-end, the new Snapdragon 865. What we do know, for sure, is that the chipset will be handled by the manufacturer Qualcomm. We are waiting for more information about this new Motorola Edge that, if what its name suggests is true, it will have the screen curved around the edges.
