Table of contents:
LG has just announced the mini version of the LG G6 which it has dubbed the LG Q6. The company has released three versions of this model, which are differentiated according to the RAM or internal storage capacity. Broadly speaking, we find a discreet phone that bears certain similarities with its older brother. In any case, there are quite a few variations that it will be necessary to take into account when choosing one or the other. Pay attention because we are going to summarize the five main differences between the LG Q6 and the LG G6.
1. Display
We are going to locate one of the most important differences between these two devices on the screen. The LG Q6 has a 5.5-inch panel with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. While the LG G6 has a size of 5.7 inches and a higher resolution of 1,440 x 2,880 pixels. However, the company has kept the Full Vision panel (practically borderless) and the 18: 9 ratio. This will allow you to make better use of the space and insert a 5.5-inch panel into the chassis of a 5-inch mobile.

2. Design
Although the LG Q6 still has a metallic casing, the fact of having a somewhat smaller panel has caused variations in its weight and measurements. This model offers dimensions of 142.5 x 69.3 x 8.1 millimeters and a weight of 149 grams. The LG G6 has measures of 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9 millimeters and a weight of 163 grams. The latter is therefore somewhat less thick but slightly heavier. However, both are quite comfortable and are perfectly operated with one hand, even.
3. Power and memory
The company has introduced a somewhat more restrained processor in the new LG Q6. This model is powered by a Snapdragon 435 along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The chip present in the LG G6 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, with 4 GB and 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage. Either one can expand its space by using microSD-type cards.
4. Camera
The camera has also undergone obvious changes. Although the LG Q6 still has a 13 megapixel sensor with flash, it is no longer dual. We can say, therefore, that the photographic section of the LG G6 is much better. This mobile has a double 13 megapixel sensor. One of them mounts a standard lens (71 degrees of vision) with aperture f / 1.8. The other with a wide angle that achieves a vision of 125 degrees, reducing its luminosity to f / 2.4. It also boasts laser autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera remains at five megapixels with an angle of 100 degrees for more professional selfies.
5. Battery
Finally, the LG Q6 equips a 3,000 mAh battery. The LG G6 is somewhat larger, 3,300 mAh. According to our tests, this amperage gives you autonomy that can last a whole day without problems. That is, you can get through the day without difficulty if you do not overuse the screen, GPS or other similar processes.
