Honor has already proven several times that it can rub shoulders with the biggest, and that it can even rival its sister brand, Huawei. And the Honor View 20 follows this line, getting ahead of many rivals by incorporating a perforated selfie camera on the screen itself. This way of positioning the camera allows you to make the most of the space for your 6.4-inch screen. But it is not the only feature that draws the attention of this mobile, which enters to compete directly with other first-line terminals. Of course, with a price that is already far from the first Honor proposals that we saw arriving in Spain.
And it is that this mobile arrives today in stores in our country with a price of 550 euros for the configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory and 700 euros for the most powerful configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. We have decided to gather in this article the five features that we have found most interesting about the Honor View 20.

1. Perforated selfie camera
It is one of the aspects by which the Honor View 20 differs from the mobiles that preceded it. Everything indicates that in the coming months we will talk until we are fed up with perforated cameras on the same screen, but for now the View 20 is one of the first to include this twist in the design. It is not only interesting because it makes obsolete the notch or eyebrow that has generated so much controversy for its aesthetics. It also brings us a resolution of 25 megapixels, a figure that until now had not been reached in the selfie cameras of major brand teams.
2. 48 megapixel main camera
It is another of the great assets of the Honor View 20. We are facing a camera of nothing more and nothing less than 48 megapixels. More than the unfortunate Nokia Lumia 1020, which at the time set a record that had not had a rival until very recently (with models like the Huawei P20 Pro). So, it remains to be seen if this impressive resolution is accompanied by a performance to match. For now we can say that it looks good, with a half-inch Sony CMOS sensor, larger pixels and the ability to take several shots practically simultaneously to superimpose the images and achieve greater sharpness.
3. Screen that occupies practically the entire front
The presence of the perforated front camera has allowed Honor to free up almost all the space on the front for its large 6.4-inch screen. This panel has a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. It is a large screen designed to enjoy both series and movies, games and video. Of course, with Full HD + resolution, a resolution lower than what we usually see in many of the high-end models that come on the market. Of course, in my personal experience it seems to me that a very high resolution (from 2K onwards) is not necessary as much as powerful screen and image processing technologies. We will see how the Honor View 20 responds during our use test.
4. Gradient design
The Asian company has wanted to differentiate the Honor View 20 from the competition with a design that attracts attention. As in other different models of the brand, they have looked for the difference in brightness. In this case, we do not talk about glass sheets superimposed as in Honor 9 but using a nanotextura (such a fine texture that is imperceptible to the eye) that is the one that creates a unique gradient V - shaped. Without a doubt, a way to attract attention and make this smartphone unique.
The Honor View 20 arrives in four different shades: blue, red, phantom red, and black.
5. 3D camera
And we continue with the cameras. The Honor View 20 also brings us a new 3D camera next to the main sensor. This camera allows us to collect depth of field data and create three-dimensional effects on the objects we photograph or make video. But, in addition, it also serves to create gaming experiences. It is one of the functions that we most want to try, although it will be necessary to see if when put into practice it is as interesting as it sounds or if it is not more than a mere curiosity.
Price and reviews
Everything indicates that the Honor View 20 is going to become one of the most interesting mobile phones on the scene during the first half of the year, with permission from the expected arrival of the folding mobile (both Samsung and LG seem to be very close to bringing us a folding mobile). The View 20 is a mobile that does not seem to be weak in any section and that is also capable of standing out in points such as the camera. Both the front and rear cameras are eye-catching right out of the box. Precisely, the front camera is one of the first that are perforated directly on the screen to eliminate the annoying notch and also its resolution goes up to 25 megapixels.
Of course, although it has a competitive price, forget about saving with it is mobile. The Honor View 20 opens today in the online store of Honor and other stores for a starting price of 550 euros for its configuration with 128 GB of internal memory and 6 GB of RAM. If you want the most powerful configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of space, you will have to fork out 700 euros.
