One of the most comfortable and simple options to watch TV on your Android mobile is to use the official applications. We have Atresplayer, which includes the private channels Antena 3 and La Sexta; we also have Mitele, which includes Telecinco and Cuatro, among others. And finally, public television could not be absent with its RVTE alacarta application.

We start with the official application of the Atresmedia group. This application is free, does not contain ads and has a weight of 14 MB. At the top we have the different channels of the group, such as Antena 3, La Sexta, Neox, Nova or Mega. You can navigate between them by sliding your finger sideways at the top. Each one of the stations has its sections of outstanding programs although everything is a bit chaotic. The first section that we find is the one that we must press to enter the live broadcast. The best way to find a certain program is to use the search, in the magnifying glass icon, although we can also press the red icon at the bottom to access a menu of program categories. This app is compatible with Chromecast and Android TV.
Despite the bad scores received by some users, we have had no problems watching TV with this application on our mobile. A mid-range terminal was used for the test.

Official application of the Mediaset group that includes, among others, Telecinco and Cuatro. It is a free application, with ads and has a download weight of about 14 MB. And it is the perfect example of an application that you should not download under any circumstances and that is the opposite of what a good tool is. We stayed, long, with Atresplayer. With Mitele we have not been able to access any program, either delayed or direct. To start watching the broadcasts, the application asks you for an email account, or to connect through Facebook. We could not see anything, we pressed the play button and it does not load. The last update dates from January 29. Hopefully soon they fix the mess because it is something that users do not deserve.

RTVE alacarta
And we finish the review of the official TV applications with the one corresponding to public TV. RTVE alacarta is free, does not contain advertising, and its size is also 14 MB. On the first screen we must configure the interface of the app, that is, what type of television menu we want, if a tasting menu in which we are offered a varied offer, menu of the day in which the most current content is offered or the self-service menu, that you configure to taste between programs, series, documentaries, sports, etc. It is quite similar to the Atresplayer app: we have a selection of content at the top, a live section, most viewed programs, classified by categories, etc. We have tested live and it worked quickly and smoothly, as well as delayed programs. It is also compatible with Chromecast and Android TV.

Third-party applications to watch TV on your Android mobile
Mobdro
A free and very light application, with ads, with a weight of just over 25 MB. So if you get caught with mobile data and want to watch TV you can download it whenever you want. Of course, it is an application that you will not be able to find in the Google Play Store. Thanks to Mobdro you will be able to see a huge number of stations and not only national but also foreign, classified by language. If we click on the eye icon we can select the channels in Spanish. Playback is smooth although it takes a while to connect.

YouTVPlayer
Another application that you will have to download outside of the Google Play store. In this application, with ads and a weight of 30 MB, you will have to create an account to start watching the channels. You can enter through your Google account, Facebook or email. It has a much more complex interface than the previous one, but it is still an app that is worth using. We have a search engine to find the desired channel and a side menu to find thematic channels from all over the world. In the 'open TV' section we will find a wide variety of channels including regional and national channels.
