The Spanish brand BQ is back on the pitch betting hard with a new series of mid-range and entry-level devices. These are the BQ Aquaris V and V Plus and the Aquaris U2 and U2 Lite. For this specific case we are going to focus on the BQ Aquaris U2 Lite model and its five strengths, which include a good camera equipment, high autonomy, protection against splashes, an affordable price and the bomb: possibility of updating to Android 8 Oreo.
Cameras
The Lite version of the Aquaris U2 range from BQ will offer us a set of two cameras, rear and front, of 8 and 5 megapixels respectively. In the case of the rear camera, it is a Samsung S5K4H8 sensor, with an f / 2.0 aperture, flash and phase detection autofocus. It has automatic HDR, RAW shooting and the ability to record video in 1080p.
The front camera has a Samsung S5K5E8 sensor with f / 2.0 aperture, front flash and the ability to also record videos in 1080p. A very decent team for an entry range.

Autonomy
The BQ Aquaris U2 Lite has a 3,100 mAh battery. With such a battery, and taking into account the 5.2-inch screen with HD resolution of this device, the autonomy will exceed the whole day. Just and ideal to not depend on the charger. Now, when we do, this device has QuickCarge 3.0 technology, so that the waiting process is as short as possible.
Splash resistance
The device, made of polycarbonate and glass, has IP52 certified protection against dust and splashes. This means that we can have a certain tranquility if we are in an environment close to the water or it starts to sparkle. In addition, the screen is made of Dinorex glass that guarantees an anti-fingerprint treatment.
Android 8 Oreo
And the star feature. Both the BQ Aquaris U2 and the Aquaris U2 Lite come with Android 7.1.2 Nougat, although they are configured to receive, shortly, the new Android 8 Oreo. This is an important differentiator from any other phone in the same range. Besides, with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chip, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, we make sure that this BQ Aquaris U2 Lite will be able to enjoy the latest Android news without affecting its performance.
Price
BQ wanted to offer an updated product in software and quality hardware at a very affordable price. Thus, the Aquaris U2 Lite will be available, from November, for 160 euros. A very competitive price that could put this Spanish terminal among the most desired in the economic range.
