October may be the month of the new Nexus. In this case, the new Nexus family phone. A few months ago we met the first tablet in this catalog, developed by the Taiwanese Asus and with a clear objective: to make a balanced and solvent team available to many pockets. Perhaps that philosophy is not part of the aspirations of the next installment, which would be signed by the South Korean Samsung.
According to sources consulted by the North American media CNET, the company will be in charge of making the next generation of Nexus tablets. And for this, it will focus on making a powerful terminal where a section of the technical profile especially shines: its screen.
And it is that as the aforementioned media has been able to know, the Nexus tablet that the South Korean multinational would supposedly be preparing would carry the panel that has already been released in the form of a prototype, but that we still do not see in a commercial terminal. It would be a screen that doubles the resolution rates that Samsung currently marks as its maximum quality. Thus, the 1,280 x 800 pixels which develops the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 would spend no less than 2560 x 1600 pixels. In practice, high definition rates are exceeded, although without reaching the 4K standard "" which maintains a ratio of3840 x 2160 pixels.
Right now, the highest resolution screen ever seen on a tablet is the one installed on the new iPad. It distributes a canvas of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels, so that the Nexus tablet Samsung surpass seen on Apple equipment. In other words, the comparison can be established in the 264 points per inch that are located throughout the 9.7 inches of the new iPad and the 299 points per inch that, supposedly, would shine in the hypothetical device that we would see from Samsung's hand.
The team would also be baptized jointly by Google and Samsung, so it is likely that we will come across a commercial name similar to that of the last phone developed by both companies, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. However, there are no more clues than this when it comes to how the team will be called about which rumors are already beginning to emerge.
There are also no technical details known beyond what we tell you about the screen, although taking into account the performance that such a resolution would require, it is more than likely that Samsung will install one of the versions of its quad-core processor, the Samsung Exynos 4 Quad. It remains to be seen if, coinciding with the premiere of this device from Google, they would also present a new version of their hybrid operating system that takes advantage of the surprising screen that has been described natively.
Currently Google has focused on the market for affordable tablets with its Nexus 7, which can be obtained for prices between 200 and 250 euros. The objective is to take advantage of the commercial performance that Amazon was able to exploit with its Kindle Fire and that would also have seduced Apple, which this month could present the iPad Mini, registering it in this same market .
