The new update of the sony xperia z2 allows you to uninstall the facebook application
One of the latest updates that have reached the Sony Xperia Z2 has brought with it a small novelty that has gone completely unnoticed among most users. The most recent of these updates, whose name is 17.1.1.A.0.402, incorporates a change that allows you to uninstall the Facebook application completely without the need to make any advanced changes to the mobile. This same update is also available for the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet and, apparently, it also brings this novelty.
The fact that this novelty is so remarkable is due to the fact that back in 2011 the Japanese company Sony decided to natively incorporate the Facebook application on all its mobile terminals with the idea of offering better integration with this social network. But not all users like to use this social network, and that is why it is so interesting the fact that with the latest update the owners of the Sony Xperia Z2 (and Z2 Tablet) can uninstall the Facebook application as if it were a conventional application.
To check if we are our terminal, we already have the 17.1.1.A.0.402 update installed, we simply have to go to the Settings application and, once inside, we have to click on the " About device " section. From this section we have to click on an option with the name of "System information ", and in principle we should see different features, including the version of the operating system that we currently have installed.
We must also bear in mind that this latest update is still being distributed around the world, so it is very likely that we will find that we do not have this latest version of the operating system. In this case, it is best to wait for the update to arrive, which will be notified with a pop-up message in the notification bar of our terminal. In the event that we want to check the availability of the update manually, the first thing to do is enter the Settings application. Once inside, we navigate to the " About the device " section, click on it and then click on the option "System update". From here we can check if there is a new update available, and if there is one, we can download and install it in our terminal by following the instructions that will appear on the screen. In order to avoid crashing and crashing problems, the download and installation of any operating system update must be done using the WiFi connection and having more than 70% battery life.
