It has been several weeks since EMUI 9.0 was confirmed for various Huawei and Honor models. Meanwhile, there are many phones that are still in versions prior to this one. Although the brand has not yet made official the list of phones that will update to Android 9 Pie, today it has published a roadmap with all the phones that will receive the long-awaited gesture navigation of the latest version of EMUI. This does not mean that they are going to update to Android 9.0, but without a doubt it is excellent news for those who want to have the aforementioned feature on their terminals.
List of Huawei and Honor mobiles that will update with gesture navigation
The latest version of EMUI for Honor and Huawei mobiles does not quite reach all models. Meanwhile, the two mobile manufacturers are finalizing their details to launch some of the features of the ninth version of the system to the rest of mobiles with Android Oreo. This morning, as many Huawei and Honor compatible with gesture navigation have been confirmed.
The list in question published by the My Drivers website can be seen just above this paragraph. As for the compatible models, we leave you with the complete list in case you do not get to see all the terminals:
- Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X and Mate RS Porsche Design
- Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design
- Huawei Nova 3, Nova 3i and Nova 3e
- Huawei Maiman 6 and Maiman 7
- Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus and Enjoy 7S
- Honor Magic 2
- Honor 8X and 8X Max
- Honor 10
- Honor Note 10
- Honor Play
- Honor 9i
- Honor 9 Lite
- Honor Play 7X
In reference to the rest of the models compatible with this feature, the mobile phones belonging to the Mate 9, P20, P10, Honor 9 and Nova 2 series will also be updated with gesture navigation. What is not known is when the update in question will be released, but at least it is certain that all these will update with on-screen gestures, although it is unknown if Android 9 Pie will arrive with it (most likely, some models will be left without the latest version of the system).
In this sense, we will have to wait for Huawei and Honor to update the list of mobiles that will update to EMUI 9.0. For now, we will have to settle for the typical Android navigation bar or third-party applications.
