Excellent news for owners of the OnePlus 6 and 6T as they will have one of the most envied features of the OnePlus 7.
Thanks to the latest OxygenOS update, users can count on the long-awaited screen recorder and some interesting improvements that enhance the dynamics of the device.
Screen recorder
You will no longer have to resort to third-party solutions to record the mobile screen. Now you can do it with the same function of the OnePlus with a few simple taps from Settings or Quick Settings.
On the other hand, the Zen mode is still pending. Recall that a few weeks ago, the OnePlus team announced that the screen recording function and Zen Mode would be integrated in the beta version of OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T in order to implement them in due course.
Users can already test the dynamics of Zen Mode in the open beta, so it won't be long until we see it in a future version of OxygenOS.
This reply was a courtesy notice to users who were installing these features on older models with expected compatibility issues. So we will have to wait a little longer to receive this second feature.
Other news in the new version of OxygenOS
In addition to the screen recorder, this version brings the long-awaited updates that improve the system, June security patch and bug fixes. And other interesting options in this version is that the screen rotation system has been improved.
One of the characteristics that distinguishes OnePlus is that it pays a lot of attention to the community trying to satisfy the needs of the users. And updates like these, with exclusive features from new models that are incorporated into previous versions, is proof of that.
How to update and get the news
The update is already available for a small group of users but it will be gradually extended to all in the coming days. It is OxygenOS 9.0.7 version for Oneplus 6 and OxygenOS 9.0.15 for Oneplus 6T.
So be patient, and when the OTA is available you just have to download and install it on your devices.
